  1. Decided to try another fic. A few chapters away from finishing Angel Tears. If you don't like dark fanfiction then please turn away now. =^.^=

    -------------------------------

I stirred slowly in my queen sized bed. My silk burgundy sheets tangled around my waist. Shifting with a soft yawn escaping my lips. I stretched out once and re curled back up on my side.

I thought nothing of it until it happened to me.

I failed to hear the creaks on the floor boards of my hallway. Or the hallow footsteps coming in to my room. I never saw it coming. Should I have checked to make sure my bedroom windows were locked and kept my windows shut? Perhaps, but the cool night air beckoned me in to it's embrace. Leaving two windows open in the house.

I fell asleep quick that night. My 18 hour shift having drained me of all my energy at the animal hospital. I could only hope to get some sleep before being called in again.

A strong sense of alcohol filled my nostrils. Gagging and fighting away at the cloth covering my nose and mouth. I tried to hold my breathe and kick my feet. My hands clawing at the object torturing me. A shallow breathe by my ear brought me back slightly.

" Don't worry sweetheart. The fun has just begun. "

A strangled scream escaped me as I could no longer hold my breathe. My thoughts began to get fuzzy and my energy leaving me rapidly in my fight to get away. The strange person welcoming himself in to my home. Grabbed me around the waist, straddling me against my will.

Hot tears ran down my face as I succumbed to the darkness taking over me. It was too dark to even see his face, except for those narrowed silver like eyes.

I awoke in a daze, had it been an hour? Maybe more..maybe even a whole day. But the feeling in my stomach of nauseous and the pounding in my head kept me from falling back asleep.

I shifted on to my hands and knees, feeling grime and dirt under my fingernails. A gagging sound gurgled in my throat, struggling to maintain my sanity. Where the hell was I?!?

I felt the boot slam in to the back of my head before I knew what was going on. Clawing at the ground, I shakily scrambled to get up and run. A pair of strong arms enveloped me and slammed me down on the ground.

I could hear my own frightened screams echo in my head. My vision was blurry and sweat rolled down my back. The ache in my bones reminding me that I was in my own hell. My head was forced up, face to face with the stranger that took me from my home.

Tears pricked my eyes and cascaded down like a water fall, " J-just l-let me g-go!! ", I stuttered out between sobs and deep breaths. As far as I could tell, we were somewhere in the woods. The smell of pine and wet earth confirmed it.

His hand came down across my face harshly, " You do not speak unless your spoken to! ", He snarled at me in rage.

My head fell back, hitting a large rock on the ground behind me. Everything went black before my eyes. Just as he was bringing over a thick brown rope to tie me up with. I could only imagine how much blood would taint my blonde tresses.

Please god, if you can hear me. Help me!

  2. I awoke to a light throbbing in my head. My eyes fluttering open to the bright sunlight filtering in to my bedroom window. I sat up slowly in my messy bed. My hand immediately going to my forehead. My fingers gently messaging my aching temples.

Throwing my legs over the side of my bed. I got up and began walking towards my open door. Wait..why is my door open if I just got up?

Confusion enveloped my thinking, but did not stop me from walking down the stairs. A male voice I knew so well sounded from the living room. Echoing the thoughts of a female voice I recognized as my best friend of eight years.

It still didn't fully hit me.

My boyfriend down stairs paced the living room floor, " Angela, she's been missing for two days. It isn't like her. ", He said to a 5'5 brunette woman of 20, who gently grabbed his arm.

" Well maybe she went off with her sister or something. Don't worry Jake, she'll be back. Have the police said anything, given any kind of clues? ", She asked the 6'0 muscular, tan skinned doctor. Her green eyes gazing in to his gentle and light brown eyes.

He pulled his arm away from Angela, turning on his heel to stare at a picture sitting on the glass table near them. A beautiful blonde haired and hazel eyed girl smiled at him from the picture.

Angel moved back to his side as he ran his fingers threw his black hair. Frustration and anger settling between them.

" The police have no clues yet. Though they did say there was no sign of forced entry. Lina probably left the windows opened again. Damnit! This makes no sense as to why she would just take off! ", He growled out and threw a nearby picture frame against the wall.

The glass shattered upon impact and scattered across the floor. Angela tiptoed to his side, " Honey relax..the police will find her, I'm sure of it. "

I stared at them in confusion, " What are you guys talking about?! I'm right here! Jake! I'm here baby! ", She said while climbing down the last steps.

Her words fell on deaf ears, even as she tried to hug him from behind. She fell right through him. A gasp of shock sounded from her. Numbness settling in her body. She shook violently, watching her boyfriend being led away from her by her best friend.

" B-but..how can this be?! How the hell did this happen?! ", She screamed out, yet still not heard. She clenched her fists and tried to pick up the shattered picture frame from the ground.

Her hand faded between the wood and glass like nothing. She bit back a sob and stumbled back away from the picture. She couldn't grab anything, couldn't touch anyone.

Just what in god's name was going on?

  3. Awesome job sweetie lovvvvved it

  4. Lina backed away in to a corner of her living room. Her eyes staring at the blank space above the fire place. A whimper escaped her, " Jake..", She whispered softly.

She couldn't tell if it was night or day. Her whole world had been tipped upside down. The saddened gaze shifted to the window. The sun was setting low in the sky.

She watched the magnificent colors of orange, purple and yellow mix together. Casting a wonderful display of colors in the living room. She sighed and lowered her head. Her eyes closing, throwing her mind back in to a whirl wind of memories.

She found herself with her hands tied in front of her. Tears staining her cheeks as she tried to scream. Her screams muffled by the dirty cloth tied around her mouth to the back of her head.

She whimpered and struggled to push herself on to her side. She felt jagged rocks scrape against her skin. Crying out at the sharp cuts marring her fair skin. She used her tied hands to pull herself forward.

It was much too quiet to her liking. Especially considering the circumstances. An owl in a nearby tree hooted, causing her to jump. She screamed and forced herself to move quicker.

A hand shot out and grabbed her leg. Dragging her backwards to where she was before. Her muffled screams falling on deaf ears. She felt him shred her shirt open. Her shorts being given the same treatment.

She kicked at him, attempting to claw at his face with her fingernails. A rough calloused hand hit her across the face. Forcing her head back, red dots dancing in front of her eyes.

Her screams intensified to the invasion over coming her. Limbs weakening against the stronger person, " JAKE!!!!!!!!! "

She opened her eyes quickly. A cold sweat breaking out over her face. She shuddered and wrapped her arms around herself. Pulling her knees up and burying her face in them.

    Jake..where are you?

She tensed up, hearing soft breathing beside her. Her whole body suddenly relaxed. Knowing who it was before she could even register a name.

Her name tumbled from his lips. She scooted closer to him, wrapping her arms around him. Even though she knew he couldn't hear or feel her presence. Tears formed in her eyes, " Jake..."

His chest rosé and fell softly with each breath. Velvet blue sheets tangled around his legs. His muscles relaxed from their previous tension. As if sensing she was laying beside him.

  5. Lina had drifted in to a dark abyss. Surrounding by many voices calling to her at the same time. She didn't know where she was. Clearly no longer next to Jake. It was eery, and the feeling of fear in her stomach nearly made her knees buckle.

She shuddered and forced her eyes open.

Regretting it moments later. Hazel eyes adjusting to the dim lighting of the room. She could tell there was something wrong. Was it the human remains scattered on the hay littered floor? Or perhaps the dry blood caked on the floor beside her.

She bit her lip and scrambled away.

Looking up at a deep voice sounding off from the door way. She gritted her teeth and backed against the nearest wall. Her hazel eyes swirling in to an angry dark green. Her angry thoughts cut off by a frightened whimper.

She turned her head, for the first time seeing the young brunette girl in the room. Her hands bound and her ankles shackled to the wall. Eyes widening in fear at the man walking towards her.

Lina cringed hearing the girl scream bloody murder. Even worse was the sight of the butcher knife that he held in his left hand. She dashed over to the other girl.

Attempting to pull her away before the man could put his hands on her. Her hands fell through the light skinned girl. She screamed in dismay and glared at the man.

A sneer etched on his face. Those same colored eyes glaring through her. A scar right above his jaw, he chuckled darkly. Stepping forward and leaning down to grab the screaming girl's ankle.

He lashed out at her, his belt buckle connecting with her right eye. The feeling of power over whelmed him. Beating her over and over again. The sounds of fear echoing against the walls.

Lina turned away from witnessing the beating. Her fists clenched at her sides. She could feel the rage running through her veins like liquid fire.

The younger girl spit up blood. Her body finally hunching over, giving up the fight. She didn't scream or cry, but remained silent. Her heart just faintly beating in her chest.

Her grabbed her by her throat as he ripped her white blood stained blouse off her.

Lina curled up in to a corner. Covering her ears and trying to block out the sounds. She clenched her teeth together. He was a monster! How could he do this to innocent girls?!

She swore up and down that she would find a way to put him in prison.

He stepped back after he had his way with the lifeless corpse on the floor. Zipping up his pants, he began his dirty work. Hacking apart the body to pieces.

If she had any human part if herself left. She swore she would have felt the bile rise in to her throat. She dropped her head down. Holding her knees against her chest as she lowered herself to the floor.

The cold feeling flooded her chest.

    Jake.

    I need you.

  6. :) Another great update

  7. Update! 

  8. Update please (if you can).this story is so great!

  9. Lina shook violently in the corner of her old bedroom. Her nightmares consuming her. Until she didn't know what was really there or not. She let out a shaky breath and opened her eyes.

No longer seeing the body of the young girl being backed away mercilessly. She lurched over and clutched her stomach. Gazing at the ground, shuddering in distaste.

How many girls he got a hold of she didn't know.

A hand reached over to touch her shoulder. Which caused her to scream and jump away.

" Take it easy! I'm not here to hurt you. "

She bit her lip and turned her head. Staring back at light blue eyes. Her eyes drifted to his light brown hair and soft features. She hesitantly reached up, " A-Alex? ", She whispered in shock and then fainted forward.

Perhaps the sudden surprise was too much on one ghost.

Alex caught her before she hit the ground. Cradling her close, " Lina. You've changed since we last met.", He mumbled and brushed a lock of hair away from her face.

She shifted and slowly opened her crystal blue eyes. The foggy gaze still numbing her brain. She groaned and turned over. Coming face to face with the same girl she witnessed be killed.

She screamed and bolted away. Tripping over a hip bone sticking out of the ground. She shook and toppled over. Laying on her side, " Oh god..that poor girl. "

Only now did she fully take in the view of things. The same girl from before was missing eyes. Only the shoulders and up were laying on the ground. Large black flies buzzed around the dismembered corpse. Feasting on whatever was left.

She heard the familiar footsteps getting close.

A scream escaped her lips, watching the killer wak towards her direction with a chain saw. She covered her head, trembling.

Nothing happened. But the eery nose behind her continued. She turned to look behind, seeing him rip apart the left over bones with the chain saw.

She sobbed and grabbed on to her knees.

Warm arms wrapped around her curled up frame when she woke. She opened her eyes, expecting to find another murder or hacked up body nearby. To her relief, Alex was there.

He whispered softly in her ear and gently rubbed her back. The blonde sighed and wrapped her arms around his waist. Hiding her face in his chest.

The best thing to have besides a fiancé, was a best friend you could trust.

    Alex.

  10. Going to update tonight

  11. Bumpit's a really good story I really like itGood job

  12. Throughly enjoyable and unique. Your story keeps me wanting to delve deeper into it. Fantastic work.

  13. Lina opened her eyes, feeling the sudden loss of someone. She blinked several times, " Hm..", She mumbled and sat up. Taking notice that Alex was no longer there.

She tensed up, afraid to find out that she was in a grave yard somewhere. Instead she found herself on a bridge built over a large stream of clear blue water. Confusion was written all over her face.

    Why was she here?

" Glad to see you finally woke up. ", Alex said softly in her direction. Leaned against one of the support rods near the edge.

Lina bit her lip and got to her feet. Taking hesitant steps forward, " How did we get here? "

" I apologize about not giving you warning before hand. ", He replied while turning to give her full view of his angelic face.

" I haven't been here since we were kids. ", She said softly and moved over to his side. Gazing out at the rippling currents below them.

" I haven't been completely honest. ", He began to say, avoiding her piercing gaze, " And I know you must be wondering now as to how I'm here. Why I am here. "

Lina took a step back from him. Her eyes widening a little as she awaited his reply.

" I got myself in trouble with money loan sharks. Look Li, you know my mom was sick. I had to do something! She was laying there dying and I couldn't just stand there while she withered away! So I borrowed money...", He said to her, his voice growing more strained and intense.

" Alex..Why didn't you come to me?! I would have done something! Anyt-"

He quickly cut her off, " It wasn't your responsibility and I couldn't do that to you. It was my burden. But either way, I wasn't able to pay them back in time.. You can piece together the rest. ", He mumbled the last part and turned away.

Lina felt her world being tipped over, " Alex..", She whispered In shock. How could she not have noticed it sooner?! Was she that wrapped up in her own problems? She felt selfish and inconsiderate.

Did he even know that his mother had passed away a month ago?

Lina pushed away all other thoughts. Moving to stand behind Alex, hugging him from behind. He was never one to be comforted by words. So she stood their, with her arms around him. The light breeze not even touching her hair.

Alex released a heavy sigh and turned to face her. Wrapping her up in a hug, " It was a painful way to go. They tortured me with hot irons before stabbing me twenty four times. Then pushed me off this bridge in mom's old car. I should have tried to find another way. ", He said near her ear. His grip tightening on her while he reminisced.

Lina held her breath, taking in all the details. She felt anger course through her with lightning speed. There was too much in justice in this world...and not enough people delivering the iron fist of truth.

She was going to change that.

Alex deserved justice as did many. She would fight for it! Besides...all a spirit had now was nothing but time.

  14. Justice is what we must always fight for! Love the update so much! 
