Chapter 1: I stare out to the streets on the balcony. I look at my cigarette and throw it out on to the streets. I watch people walking by. But the thing I'm really looking at is a little girl in a faded pink dress. Her eyes are full of tears. She looks up at me. I avert my eyes. I want to cry. I can't help her. I have a long bath and think about the girl. I get out and cover my self with my towel. My long blonde hair falls past my waist. I lie out on my bed. I can't stop myself. I get my iPhone out. "Ricky, where the hell are you?! I've been waiting for the past few days!" "Look, babe, I told you the work would go on" "Don't babe me. I'm sick of you always lying to me. Chapter 2, The Restless Night: I turn the lights off and try to get to sleep. I hear the girl crying. It gets closer. I look around my room. Nope. I check outside. I see her sleeping on a stray dog. I want to help her. I can't do it now. I get to sleep. I wake to hear loud knocking on my door. It's the little girl. I can't say anything. I'm silent. I don't want to open the door. In truth, I want to call the cops. "I know you can see me" I'm shocked. She looks at the eyehole. Her eyes are pure black. I can't look away. I stand there for what feels like centuries. I wake up. I had a terrible nightmare. Yet it felt so real. I need to get outside. I quickly bush my hair and my teeth. I slip on skinny jeans and a tank top. I slip my bag round my shoulder. I pick out my pair of high heels. I run outside. The girl is there. Looking at me. She has piercing blue eyes. I walk to her. End of Chapter 2?
