It is the year of 1980 and it has been four months since Harry was born. James has been busy with work and the order. We barely get time together as a family. I haven't had much time to myself either because I have to take care of Harry, and clean up our house. Sometimes I just wish Petunia didn't hate me so much. She is the only family I have left because James's parents got murdered by Death Eaters and my parents just kicked the bucket because of old age. So the only "family" we have left is Sirius, Remus and Peter. I don't really think Petunia is counted as family. So today I cleaned the house (With magic of course.), fed Harry, said goodbye to James, and recieved an owl from Sirius saying James, Remus and himself got off work early and they are coming over. They are now walking through the front door. "LILY I'M HOME!" "How was work James?" "Work was fine because I have Moony and Padfoot working with me." "Work goes by a lot faster Prongs." "It sure does Padfoot." "Where is Peter?" "I was just there actually. He is sick today with dragon pox." "Well I'm glad you went to check up on him Remus." "I'm not. It was Nasty!" "Ok then. Aren't you guys going to come in and sit down and tell me about work?" For a while we just chatted about the order and their work. I wish I could go to more meetings but I haven't really been able to since Harry was born. But you have to sacrafice some things when your married and have children. It is kind of nice to not have to go to work every morning. The upside of having Harry is he doesn't really cry at all and he even sleeps all through the night which is good for me and James. Harry is even showing signs of being a wizard because he has been floating out of his crib when he is not supposed to. He is such a cute baby you can't possibly be upset at him for long. He looks so much like his Father but he has my eyes. Maybe in a few months he will be able to walk! James and I have actually been thinking of getting Harry a model broomstick to zoom around on when he gets a bit older. "YOU GIT!" That was when Sirius pulled me out of my thoughts. "What? I didn't do anything padfoot." "What are you two even fighting about?" "James is being a total wanker and he won't let me buy my godson an early christmas present!" "But Harry isn't even old enough for a model broomstick yet!" "Sirius just wait another month until Christmas to have this talk with James." "Fine." "James, your still a wanker." "Padfoot, it takes one to know one." "Smartarse." "Thank you, I take pride in my smartness." "Hey Lily, can me and Moony stay the night? Like a sleepover?" "If you don't trash my house." "YAY! When I woke up the next morning to get Harry, James wasn't in the room so I immediately thought my house was a wreck. To say that was an understatement. My house was... There probably are not words that are capable of describing my house. The hallway to Harry's room was wrecked, and when I went into his room he wasn't in there and everything was turned upside down, literally. So when I walked downstairs I had to repair them with my wand because if I didn't I wouldn't even be able to have walked down them. I'm going to kill them! There is confetti in every single room in my house except mine and Harry's. My whole house is turned upside down, my pictures and vases are all broken including the furniture, and when I walk into my kitchen there they are drinking tea like the house isn't a total mess! They are in such big trouble! I think the only decent rooms in the house is my room, and the kitchen. At the kitchen table Remus and Sirius are sitting and talking about Harry's first birthday party which is still a while away, and Harry and James are by the kitchen window looking at a butterfly outside the window. Harry looks like he only got five minutes of sleep last night! They are definately screwed! "Good morning my beautiful wife." "James don't even, you know your in trouble!" "In trouble, why?" "Well my house is a total wreck and Harry looks like he is about to die of sleep deprivation! I swear if our son becomes an insomniac I am not staying up all night trying to get him to sleep!" "So violent today Lily." "Quiet Sirius." "Do you think we should clean up now?" "Yes Remus, that would be nice, and someone get Harry's room first so I can let him nap." Harry starts to yell: "MUM DADY BAD! PADFOO BREAK WINDOW! MOOEY BREAK VACE! DADY BAD!" "Yes Harry, they were all naughty last night. Now let's go take a nap." I took Harry from James and started to walk up the stairs with him behind me. Once all the house was clean and Harry was awake from his long nap, Sirius and Remus fell asleep on the couch and James took a nap in our room. I had a feeling that they weren't leaving to go back to their apartment for a while. I started clean the dust off of things when I noticed an owl at the window. When I opened the window I recognized it as a Hogwarts owl because I used the same one when I was a student there. When I opened the letter I started to feel a wave of dread when I read this line: The Prewett brothers are dead; come to a meeting at once. The same place as always. I immediately woke up James, Remus and Sirius and passed them the letter. James quickly went upstairs to get Harry and when he came down I was thankful to see he was still asleep. James and I locked the house and then we all apperated to Hogsmeade. When we walked through the Hogs Head Inn's doors everything was dirtier than I remembered but when we got into the basement everyone was looking sad and there were black drapings everywhere. I immediately looked at the now four empty seats and felt so sad. When Dumbledore walked into the room about ten minutes later he said: "Welcome back Lily. I see you brought little Harry with you." I murmured Hello and when I was done Dumbledore turned to the whispering order in front of him. When he was standing in front of everyone everyone immediately looked up and quieted down. "I know you all recieved my letter and owls, we are all gathered here today to talk about two wonderful heroes. When the twins were stopped by two Death Eaters they started to get into a breif battle." "After a few feces a curse was cast. One of the twins were hit with the killing curse. Then the other twin could not control his anger he hit five death eaters with the same curse, and then his magical powers let out and blew up everything in about nine hundred and fifty feet of him. Then another death eater apperated behind him and killed him with the killing curse." "Since this our fourth death out of our little group I will later be telling you on how to set up security jinxes, hexes and curses. No doubt they will work unless the secret is given away. But for now we will mourn the loss of two amazing brothers." For the next two hours we all sat together crying, and remembering our loss as one big family would.
