Romance? ----- It was funny. Nobody bothered to talk to her. The frail look on her face, telling everybody who looked in her way that she was fragile and delicate. It scared people, driving them away from her. Her lips were pursed as she headed to her locker, her footsteps light, and her brown hair tied in loose pigtails hanging behind her back. Putting in the combination and grabbing the books she needed, she decided to head over to Calculus, a subject she always hated and loved. Not many people took that lesson. It was why she loved it. It was peaceful and quiet. The nerds usually hung out in that classroom, with the teacher casually sliding around jokes to pass the time. Not only that, her crush was sitting right beside her. Unlike most, the nerds were people she could actually have a conversation with without them making an excuse to run away from her. Her crush? He was a quiet person with medium length black hair, his emotionless blue eyes were hidden behind the lenses of his glasses. They'd occasionally pass notes to eachother, words scribbled, telling eachother what was going on in their lives. It was refreshing, really. The teacher didn't mind, he'd only smile. After all, the students weren't trouble makers and did whatever they were told to do. Her absent mindedness usually was the downfall of her straight A reputation. In other classes, such as Literature, the teacher would disapprove of how she lacked in speech when talked to. The teacher, a woman in her late sixties, was like a stern motherly figure she admired. All the more reason that Literature was one of her favorite subjects. She'd write haikus everyday, posting them on the walls of her bedroom. Poems, stories, everything. It was like a museum, with all sorts of stuff stuck everywhere. That was one of the many reasons, why he harbored an attraction to her. ----- Start. .-.
