Chapter 1 "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to I swear!" I look at the blood on my hands as I hold her in my arms. "What have I done?" I say to myself. I set her gently on the ground and kiss her forehead. "She was all I had and now she's gone...and it's all my fault..." I stand up and walk to the bathroom stunned by everything that has happened. I wash my hands and quickly leave the house. I pass people in the streets and I start sweating in worry as I think "Do they know? Could they possibly know what I have done?" At this point I am running through streets, bumping into people and knocking people over. I stop running at the park and sit under a big tree and eventually fall asleep under the tree...
I wake with a park ranger standing over me. "sir you need to leave,you are not aloud to sleep here." says the park ranger as he gestures towards the park exit. "I'm sorry sir, I'll leave." I stand up and leave the park. The memories of last night still haunting me. Flashback after flashback. I can't control it. The picture just keeps entering my head no matter how many times I force it out. I wish I could rewind time. Go back to before I did what I did. I hear sirens and start looking around to check if they are following me. I watch my back...watching for something...but what am I watching for. Rebecca? Police?...hope?
Chapter 3 As I sat on my front porch I started thinking about what I did. But I was interrupted by police pulling up in front of my house. I quickly stood up and started sprinting away. I run into the nearby woods and keep running. All I hear is dogs and helicopters chasing me. I still keep running. The only thing going through my mind is run...run...RUN. Just then I feel a a dog jump on my back and pin me to the ground. It is soon followed by police putting me in handcuffs and throwing me in their car...
