Chapter one: The snowball effect My pain was evident on my features. "Mr. Grant, your fired." My boss said in a rather disrespectful tone. "Bu...but why!" I demanded, causing a scene. "Give me one good reason!" I snapped inching closer to him. He leaned back in his chair with a smug look upon his features. "Because your my employee, and i no longer desire you to be." He was radiating a mixture or smug and confidence. "If that's how you want it then so be it!" I yelled then tossed his desk, thousands of papers scattering across the moderately sized office. He kept his cool and rolled his way over to his door, opening it and gesturing me out. I quickly strode out and got my belongings. "Fine, i don't need this job!" I lied through my teeth. "The pay is barely covering my lifestyle anyway" But this pay fueled my life. "Good bye Mr. Grant." He said smugly.
