the big trip to dentist

  1. Ok so some of y'all wanted to hear how my dentist surgery went with my wisdom tooth.. Well I'm alive lol. So I accidentally drank 4 sips of coffe so I wasn't allowed to be put to sleep bc if was to throw up it would have went in my lungs and kill me. So instead I put on my big boy pants and went ahead and let them just numb me up.. So I arrive to the back of the surgery room I take a seat, they leaned me back. The doctor came in and started to inject my mouth with Novocaine on both sides. Man I thought I was having a seizure because my whole body started shaking. I was told it was normal but it didn't feel normal.. So I layed back thinking to myself like omg this is it..ima die having a seizure lol. But ends up I was actually ok and it was the medicen ha-ha. So they dug my right tooth that was already sticking out a little bit and pulled it out. Well they then started on the left side.. They had to open my gums bc it wasn't sticking out yet but close to it.. So they then grabbed a drill , he said he was gunna drill and I might feel some pressure. Idk if they drilled my gums open or my tooth to help pull it out lol . I honestly couldn't feel a thing. They were so nice to me and I stayed shaking through the whole procedure but I also have anxiety so it could have been anxiety and the Novocaine. But I felt nothing and got it over with and concured my fear . I'm now home I feel like a chipmunk in my face lol . I sound funny but I'm fine . in 4-6 hrs the numbness will wear off and then I shall be in pain, but I plan on taking my pills they prescribed me and just sleeping all day to pass it off. Oh and all I'm eating is pudding, apple sauce, ice cream, and soup..but I'm not allowed to eat right now uhg. But at least I can drink my tea. So any questions anyone??

PS sorry if this is misgrammered and misspelled. I'm still a little loopy.

  2. When the Novocain goes away its like being stung by 50 fire ants on your lip and gums...

  3. Really? Yea I was told it shall hurt alot when the novocaine wears off. But I heard the dry sockets is worse..that its your whole body in pain.

  4. Lol.
I remember when I got my two bottom ones out, I had impacted ones. They had to cut into my jaw a little to be able to get them out, I was semi knocked out, remember waking up at one stage, seeing and feeling my body shaking then was back asleep again . After it all though I felt so weird, I'd be constantly dribbling like an idiot, mum got a good laugh outta it though lmao.
Don't do what I stupidly did and have steak before I was meant to, I ended up getting an infection and my right side of my cheek where they dug it out filled up with puss. It was the grossest thing I've ever experienced ?.

  5. Wow really? Yes mine were impacted as well. All of em. My mother and boyfriend are getting good laughs as well. Lol. That must be way worse though to cut your jaw a little. I wanna eat but idk how long I gotta wait. But I'm Hungary . all I'm doin is drinking tea :/.

  6.  yeah same here! I haven't got my top ones out though, they seem fine.
It was painful but the medication they give you helps.
I tried to have tomato soup  about 2hrs after the op. Mum had to spoon feed me because it was all down my face . Gotta love the numbness!
I suggest not eating anything hot, until your numbess wears off at least.
Try to have soft foods, maybe like jelly or custard until you can have some soup when the numbness is gone 

  7. Thanks. Yea when I drink my tea I have to sip it ha-ha. Bc if not it will be all over.

  8. ?I love these kind of stories! Sadly, I've never gone under like that ?but I'm sure my parents and friends would video tape it and post it if I had to 

  9. Haha yes don't need that Hun .
Hope you don't get an infection and such, good luck with is all, I have to get back to sleep, 3am here ?

  10. Thank you :) . goodnight and have a good morning when you get up. It's 12:08 pm here.

  11. Dude u can eat icecream and pudding for breakfast lunch and dinner ur the luckyest man in the word

  12. Good thing you weren't a lion, probably wouldn't be alive  

  13. Ive never had my wisdom teeth pulled out. And i wont

  14. Right now I'm starting to feel the pain a little

  15. I hope everything turns out ok for you. I ended up with dry socket and I would rather give birth again then to go thru that experience again hated it when they packed the socket and wasn't numb for that at all. Accidentally bit the dentist. Make sure you rinse your mouth out after you eat and don't eat before ur supposed to and whatever you do don't suck on a straw. Hope the pain meds work for you.

  16. Thank you . the numbness has worn off so now I'm in pain and my jaw feels stiff. Ima try sleep it off. The gaus hurts touching the spot where they pulled the tooth out. Yea I heard dry socket is worse and hurts bad. But hopefully I try to keep it healthy and good so I don't catch one lol.
