"Huh? Whatdya mean no deal?" asked Danny, snarling. "Well kid, I told you. No deal. You're banished now." replied the man opposite him. "Fine. FINE! I'll just take back my guns now if you please." Danny said making a grab for the locked briefcase. The man hurriedly swept the briefcase behind him and turned away with one last parting shout, "Haha. I'll keep these guns. You, however, need to find a new gang cause you're banished from this one." Danny thought about chasing after his ex-boss but decided against it. Who does he think he is anyway? Well his gang is gonna suffer a huge loss without me. Humph. I guess I'll have to search for another gang now. Hopefully my old buds' will accept me. Well this sure sucks for me, he thought to himself. Then turning away, he walked slowly back up the dusty dirt road kicking away the rocks and pebbles that lay under his feet. ------------------------------------------------- Few hours later... "Hey Zoey? Guess who turned up," shouted Jodiiee from the lookout spot in their little hideaway. "Lemme guess. That little rascal of a beggar, Danny? What a hoodlum." Zoey replied with a sigh. "Haha! Well should we let him in? Seeing as he betrayed us last time." There was a slight pause as Zoey thought if Danny had changed or not. "Let him in but make him take an oath and let's mess with his head a bit. Hey Alexandra and Julia cmon! And Penelope I think you'll want to come with me for this." Jodiiee rolled aside the makeshift door and stepped aside to let Danny through. As he put one foot in however, Jodiiee hurriedly stuck her foot out and tripped him. Danny went down with a thud and jumped up in fighting stance. "Hey Jod! I thought we were friends!!!!" Danny shouted with a surprised look on his face. "We were. Until you betrayed us. Look at where we are now!" Jodiiee replied sadly. "You're lucky you're even able to step foot inside here!!!" "Right, right. Look can we let bygones be bygones? I'm sorry for what I did and have received penance for what I did," he said scowling, "But now I'm all alone. Please just gimme one more shot?" "Not my decision. You need to talk to Zoey about that," and with that being said Jodiiee gave a sweeping motion with her hands and revealed Zoey, Julia and Alexandra standing open-mouthed and Penelope behind. Danny did a little wave sheepishly as the girls' astonished looks turned to anger. As a whole, they flew at him and started pounding him with their fists. Each punch was punctuated in between with cries of, "HOW DARE YOU COME BACK?!" and "I HATE YOU!!" Danny stood there grunting in pain while he waited for them to cool down. After a few minutes, they seemed sane and he started to slowly and inconspicuously march off into the hideaway. Before he got to make a breakaway however, a blonde boy in dark jeans blocked his way. "Hoho! Looks who here? Danny! How's it goin' dude," asked the newcomer. "Cyber!!! Man it's been forever hasn't it? Yea I'm doing good! Just, you know, stall those girls back there a bit while I sneak off..." replied Danny pointing behind him at the still rather tired girls. "Haha!! First day and already causing trouble huh? But I got ya. No probs." and with that he walked over to the girls and started to try and distract them. Danny silently tiptoed over all the random paraphernalia to stealing and climbed to his old sleeping quarters, the roof. On the roof he was met with a surprise. "VICTORIA?! Whatcha still doing here?!" he cried. Victoria looked up from her magazine and gasped, "Danny? Is that you? You somehow seem different. Taller? New clothes? I know! The hair!! Hmmm. I don't like that hair style. So yesterday. Come over here and let me fix it for you!" Danny hurriedly put his baseball cap on and said, "Hehe. Uhhh, I don't need a haircut! Don't worry! But nice to know you're still here!" Victoria disregarded him and turned back to her magazine. "Whatever. I'll see you later! Go meet the other people you might remember. Ooo! I need to get that dress........" Danny didn't catch the rest but it seemed Victoria was the same snobby girl he'd left behind he thought as he chuckled to himself.
