  1. This is the sequel to The Girl In The Closet because some people felt like the story needed one

    Chapter 1- Haunted Laughter

"Ella! Don't forget to unpack your stuff!" My mom yelled at me from the kitchen.

"Yeah, I know," I yelled back as I finished stuffing some boxes into my closet. I just moved into this house, and little did I know, two girls were laughing and giggling in the corner of the closet.

"Hey, Grace, someone FINALLY moved in! What if they can see us?" A voice said.

"I hope they can, then they could have tea parties with us!" A small, but excited voice replied. At the time, I couldn't hear or see them.

I sat down on a mattress and played games on my phone.

"Ella! Get your butt of that mattress and start unpacking!" My mother yelled as she came in my room.

    "Fine," I replied.

That night, I heard some laughter coming from my closet. I went to check it out. Inside the closet, there was two girls, one about seven wearing a long, pink, ruffled dress from the 1800s and her hair fell in shiny blonde locks. The other about fifteen wearing a black corset and a ruffled skirt that fell down to her knees. Her blonde hair was mostly a pixie-cut, but two long bands of hair looped from the front of her head to the back.

"Uh... Who are you?" I stuttered.

"I'm Melody, and this is Grace," the older one said.

"Will you play with us?" Grace asked.

"No!" I yelled as I ran out of my room and slammed the closet door shut. No, not ghosts, not again.

  3. Chapter 2- Haunted Dreams

I ran back to my bed after I slammed the closet door shut. No, not ghosts. I hid my head under my pillow.

    "DADDY! DADDY STOP!" I screamed.

"Daddy's not here," my dad muttered as he continued to swing around with a large steak knife. His eyes were turned all the way around, so only the white and veins were showing.

"Darrion, stop swinging!" Mom yelled at him. She was cowering under the island.

"I'm sorry, Darrion's not here either," Dad said in monotone. He continued to swing the knife around, narrowly missing me.

"Dad?" My older sister, Kay came into the kitchen. She was still in her pajamas. Dad's head cocked to the side, and he smiled.

"Tonight is your last," He said as he approached Kay. He swung the knife at her, and she screamed. Soon, both Kay and Dad were laying on the floor dead. Dad stabbed his own body while slashing at Kays.

After they were both dead, a strange mist rose from Dad.

"I will come back for you," the mist said, then floated toward me, then vanished.

I woke up. I have had the same exact nightmare every night for a year. It was always painful reliving it.

  6. Chapter 3- Haunted Life

Everywhere has ghosts of some sort. I can see them, I always have. My mom said that Dad was just sleep-walking, but I saw the mist. I know that it possessed Dad. I still wonder what it meant to do.

"Ella, you're finally up!" my mom said when she walked in my room. Mom was never the same afterwards, she always loved and cared for me. We would go on picnics and to the zoo. Now, we only get in fights. She even kicked me out of the house one time, but of course I came back.

"Now get dressed, take a shower and whatever, then get these boxes out of here," She said, kicking one of the boxes. Perhaps she was mad about Kay. Losing both a husband and a daughter would be hard.

"I know, I know," I said, "But you have to get out first," I threw a pillow at her.

She gave me a glare, then left the room. I wish she would just get over it.
