Hi there, I was reading the TOU, and I saw an excerpt that made me curious. What exactly constitutes “extreme cases”? What exactly is “the scope of fair gameplay”? Assuming a player did nothing else that is against the TOU, could it potentially be a TOU violation to PvP/farm someone if it was an “extreme case” and outside the “scope of fair gameplay”? Harassment Party In My Dorm incorporates PvP mechanics such as attacking others and farming as a core component of gameplay. As such, these are permitted actions. In extreme cases however, repeated negative interactions with someone that go beyond the scope of fair gameplay may be seen as harassment and are assessed on a case by case basis by A Thinking Ape Support and Product Team.
The game is changing to a kids rp game. So excessive pvp towards people who dont want to pvp is bad now yes
Wait, really? Has that happened where someone was banned for PvP and nothing else? Where do they draw the line?
I mean idk for sure where the line is. But its definitely a thing. As you saw with your warning you got
I believe their vagueness is intentional and hostile to players but good luck in your search for a straight answer.
It’s up to the discretion of the Developers. I would say I cant imagine a player getting banned solely for PvP. But if they were using PvP as a means to negatively impact other players in a major way somehow it could be looked into. Each issue like that though is dealt by case to case.
Maybe PvP is an issue if the reasoning is outside of the game? Like for instance you can’t beat someone in rl for dating your ex. But you could hit them in the game to be petty.
I'm from other clubs too. But, I'd say your sneaking into the club and war spamming would be considered a Violation of TOU. 🤷 Also, as your mains found out, trying to extort smaller players is against the unwritten TOU of other players.
I'm talking about you and the clowns that run around with you from small club to small club just saying "SFW" for the sake of trying to get people to CF over an unjust SFW. It's extortion and a low-key scamming technique. If you're gonna claim someone or some club is in SFW then at least have a valid reason. Instead, you create a fake Intoxicated Hellraisers club thinking ppl are gonna be intimidated. SMD. 😂
It’s not extortion or “low-key scamming”. Maybe you should do some research on the actual rules of the game before publicly accusing another player of such an things.
There's unwritten rules too. Going from small club to small club and trying to force new players to give you things or else they'll be in your petty ass, unjustified SFW has scammer energy, and is frowned upon by the community. Inserting an alt into those clubs and incessantly declaring wars with your mains club is against TOU. So, maybe you should do some research on the rules. My research ended after I saw the screenshots of conversations with players who were so new they didn't even know what SFW was an acronym for. And the best reason you gave for the SFW was "Just because". More like "just because" you thought you could get easy CF. Go spin the spinner if you need Chibis that bad. It literally takes so much less energy than what you were doing.
