This just has been in my head for a while and I wanted some people's opinions. Do you think technology is good or bad? You might just say bad because it's a 'waste' of time and bad for you but I wanted to list some Good things and Bad things about technology Good •Can be educational •Helps medically-Gives somebody a leg or arm. •Jobs •News •You can communicate easier Bad •Eye sight •Studies have shown more people have technology than bathrooms •Studies have also shown the average IPod checks 6 times every hour •Less of a social life •Cyber bullies ?What do you think about technology? What side would you choose and WHY??
You might've forgotten Pornography on one of the lists. Your call on whether it is good or bad, though.
It's great for communication, games, aiding people (hearing aids/voice comm), and makes research easier. It's bad work wise. Technology keeps people entangled in their work 24/7. I get emails on my off days that I have to reply to, and the expected workload is so much more with computers.
There's always good and bad sides of everything. Technology does make getting things accomplished much faster, but it does make us more prone to being lazy/lazier than normal.
I can't believe you have education, health and jobs on one side, then on the other side bad eyesight and lack of social life haha. What kind of debate is this. Obviously technology is a positive thing. And what studies show more people have technology than bathrooms??
I would like to say my part on this thread tomorrow, because I recently did a whole 1000 word essay on technology that I genuinely loved doing, there are so many good and bad effects it can have on not only people but the planet itself. ?
Technology is used for good and bad. Phones should have never turned into little computer screens in pockets with online gaming and social networking should not have been invented. I nickname it stalk book because that's what it's turned into
You can have fancy lasers spinning around in a club while people enjoy and party... You also have laser aiming at people's head. My point is technology is depended on users and inventors (maybe?). Just don't abuse it and we all can enjoy partying in the dorm
