So I just finished watching this movie. It's about some dude having like visions of a storm and weird dreams. And so he cleans out the storm shelter in his backyard and stuff. Basically what the whole 2hrs are about. So like the ground starts shaking and stuff so he takes his family to the storm shelter. And they stay there for a while. And then it turns out it was just like an earthquake. And his therapist says he's obsessing over it and advices him to take his family on vacations. And when they're there, his storm start happening and his wife realizes it was true. So..... Basically it's boring as fuck. I read reviews to try and maybe understand it but shit. Everyone says it's brilliant and stuff but it was boring as fuck. If there was some sort of hidden meaning, I sure as fuck didnt get it. Maybe I'm stupid. Idk. So I was wondering if anyone else has watched that movie and explain to me what's the meaning of that movie. Cuz my whole family didnt understand it. Maybe the stupidity runs in the genes. Idk.
If the point of the fucking movie was that he was right about the storm then it's a damn waste of time.
I've never heard of this movie but basing off the summary you gave it's about trusting your instincts I guess to protect your family.. It could also be like Evan Almighty when it only rained for like two seconds then it started to flood. So I guess, never underestimate your instincts? Dude. I have no actual clue.
I'm not exactly sure if there's a meaning but it is a pretty powerful movie You have Curtis and I think the main plot of the movie is evaluating whether he is actually having prophetic visions or he's mentally ill. Overall, I enjoyed it and I thought it was moving
I thought it was a waste of time. Guess I just dont put that much thought into movies.. Dont analize and stuff.
Ehhh it all depends on what kind of movies you like other than the graphics I thought Life of Pi wasn't a very good movie but I have friends who loved it
