  1. The first one kept cutting off from the and sign. Plus I wanted to add in a little more to story, so here it is again.

    Enjoy!! 

So, I decided I would do a story on my life. It might be boring, but ya know. I think everyone has a story to tell, it's what makes life, life.

    So here goes.

I was conceived, born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia up until I was five, my sister was ten. My parents decided to move to North Carolina, mom found the same job she worked but it paid more than what she was making in Georgia. My dad is a neurologist and mom is an architect. I have two middle names, the first being Atlanta because mom said I had a glow in my eyes that reminded her of the skyline at night. My first name is Paige and my sisters name is Ashlynn.

I grew up in a pretty nice home. Family around me, pets to comfort my bad days. We live in what people say is "for the rich." It's called Swiss Pine Lake and though it sounds rich and fancy, it's not. If you want a house on the golf course overlooking the small town then yes, you're rich. Those houses start at $90,000 and look like they came from the 60's with no remodeling whatsoever. Not worth it. 

Growing up mom said I was the mean one. I ripped the heads off my sisters Barbies, let her hamster loose from its cage, threw her teddy out in the yard during a rain storm.  I was hard to handle.

Of course, I calmed down in my teen years and became the good sister while my sister followed in the rebellion. I made the straight A's and she made a straight line to her bedroom window sneaking out.

During my freshman year I dated a boy I had always sort of liked back then and it lasted a week. Lesson learned, don't date a best friend. I called it off because it just wasn't working for us. I asked if he wanted to go to the Valentines dance, I never went to a dance in high school and thought it would be fun to go together. He said he wasn't interested in dancing so I said "oh." I stayed home that night with Ben and Jerry's, cuddled up with Scoob our Great Dane, watching Bad Girls Club and Housewives of New York only to find out he had asked another girl to that dance only a day after we split.

I joined volleyball my freshman year and stuck with it through graduation. Dance team in my sophomore year, I played softball until graduation, I tried winter sports varsity cheerleading and hated being a flyer.

I also played recreational sports outside of school. Including; tennis, skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, and swimming to name a few.

I was already in Gymnastics, something I stuck with since I was seven. I'm the type of person who likes staying busy, who can work better under pressure.

I dated another guy my junior year from a rival high school and it didn't work out. We dated for five months on and off and the straw that broke the camels back was finding out from his best friend and even his family was that he had seven other girlfriends, two being my friends. It was always crossing my mind and finding out myself the thoughts were true, the little signatures he left on his phone saying they were old "️Angela️" or "John and Amber" ending up being true. Even though I asked who Angela, Amber, Heather, Tabitha, MacKayla, Olivia, and Leah was I always got told, "an ex" or "don't start."

Our relationship wasn't even a relationship, it was toxic. We yelled, we fought, I always handed my phone to him but I would have to fight for his. We hit each other, he made me so angry and frustrated I cried because he made me give in to things I didn't want. It's sad to me that putting up with everything I did it took his mom and friend to realize that he was cheating and to get me to leave.

After graduation I babysat my sisters little boy from age 3 to 4 while she worked. Her and her whole "family" later moved to Oklahoma.

When I turned nineteen I was talking to a guy from Ohio, DJ. One of my close friends is from there that was a transfer who attended our rival high school but we became close friends from football games and mutual friends. In June 22, of 2012 DJ and I became a couple.

He started as a crush and now he's my best friend and boyfriend. I have no idea where I would be if it wasn't for him, he understands me better than anyone. He knows when I'm about to cry, when I'm angry or sleepy.

    P.S I love you Demontae. ️

After that I attended my community college for my CNA license, after I passed my states in April. I applied everywhere for a CNA job and got hired at the nursing home for people with Alzheimer's. After spending two hours on the phone with DJ telling him happy birthday April 11th. I celebrated my 20th birthday on April 16th in the Outter Banks with my two best friends.

Now at 21 I'm still with DJ two years later. I'm doing gymnastics, working currently at Family Dollar and 3rd shift as a CNA.

For those who don't know, a CNA is a Certified Nurse Assistant or nurse aide. We shower, shave, dress, change the Depends, make beds, do laundry, feed and care for our 31 residents. We pretty much do everything for the residents. In my time working there I've been called a bitch, been told I'm an angel, been called a residents mom then from the same resident minutes later called a son of a bitch. I've been slapped, hit in the face, pinched, grabbed.

I work hard and to me, it's hard that I have to look at them as my paycheck or just a person. They're a human placed under care by young people, who don't know where their mom or family is because most don't visit. I'm attached to my residents and if I could I would bring them to my house. Residents put love miles on your CNA shoes everyday.

I wouldn't trade making $12 a hour for $21 a hour for an RN who works two or three days a week and barely knows the residents names.

In gymnastics I just got a trophy in first place making it the seventeenth one. My coach is keeping me motivated and determined, she pushes me because she knows I can do it.

I was out from gymnastics for almost a year with a injury. I don't wanna talk about it in public but if you're curious, I don't care to share, just send me a message. But, I've been cleared to do gymnastics from my doctor now and winning first place weeks after being cleared made the win that much greater.

After high school I wrote college applications everywhere. Duke, Wake Forest, NC State, NC Chapel Hill, Ohio State (to be close to DJ), I even put in one to Harvard for the fun of it, NC Greensboro, and ETSU (Eastern Tennessee State).

I got accepted into Duke, Wake, NC State, Ohio, and NC Chapel Hill to my surprise. The only college to have a excellent medical program was Duke, I never attended any college, just community. I still haven't even thought of college because to move up from CNA you have to work as a CNA for so long. I would love to move up to a NICU or LD nurse (labor and delivery).

I love to help people, that's why I pour my heart into working as a CNA.

My sister and I don't look alike, we're not identical. She has my moms blonde hair, I have brown like my dad. I have my moms blue and dads grey-blue eyes, my sister has blue. My eyes look like a pale green-blue, really neat looking.

So, um yeah. That's it. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

If you want to see any pictures I can post. If I remember how.  put I'll share. 

    Thanks for reading.

    With love,

  3. Quite an interesting tale you have there, I don't know what to say because I don't know if you wanted to make it a long story or short one. Reasons as to why people may of not commented on your story is that:

    1. They didn't see it on the Forums.

    2. They saw the title and wasn't interested (Most likely assuming it was another romance high school story).

    3. They're not interested in stories that are true.

    4. The majority of FF consists of writers that likes to write and read fictional stories rather than a story that was based on your life. We don't really get a lot of "this is my story" sort of thing. We like to focus on the more fictional side of writing than anything. Maybe it's because it's a way to escape from reality or for fun or they just don't like non-fictional or autobiographies.

Nonetheless it was a nice insider to your life, keep writing eh? 

  4. I intended on it being short.

Thank you for the feedback, I am currently writing a piece right now that I'm about to post.

I've posted a few stories on FF before and I quit when I quit PimD. I'm back because I love to write, I write anything that really comes to mind.

My time on being PimD I've never seen "my life" threads and I thought I would try it out. Something new anyways, right?

Anyways, thanks for your comment and I appreciate you reading. 

  5. testing

Hope I get this right. ?
