Whats your thoughts on sping if you are a target in beta wars and oppo is dancing you to gain plunder. I was always taught to shield and take the hits so others could pin and plunder but today I was told that for beta wars this isn't ideal and to sp. Just wondering what strategy others use. Hopefully we have many more of these wars, win or lose it was great fun
If I do sp I hit the cows, more chance of winning lol Just curious how others war, not saying either way is right.
This even goes for normal wars, I only sp if I'm the target. Otherwise, it's dn if needed and attack back
Im not usually a target in war, I get hit but not as hard as I have in these last set of beta wars. There are two ways to look at it, if you sp then they don't need to waste energy pinning you and will just move to the next leaving you sp and your members to be hit and not able to regen. If you don't sp you can leak.
Best strategy for beta war ....all team members unload and dn at the beginning ....then all sp for the remainder of the war
I sp in beta wars if I gonna use dn, if they start milking me I unload on cows or top one nd stay sp... Its much better to stay sp then giving them plunder .
Beta wars, after doing 20 plus of them now, the way I see it, if you're being targeted, and are defending 50% or more hits just shield, once they're getting 70-80% win on you, you're just being an easy cow, at this point I would selfpin. I wouldn't use a dn straight away since they will be constantly checking on your regain waiting to milk you, best option is when every one is using dn in your club is when you should as well, and stay up and milk as much as you can, and if you're targeted again to stay up again till they start to win most hits on you. When dtw, I wouldn't hit a cow or current target, since the plunder you make will be very minimal, but to hit their top plunder makers. The damage you will do as a pest from pin, will be greater than the plunder you will make from pin if you get a lucky hit. To avoid being the main target, make sure you're not at the bottom of the club best strategy is to hit weakest bc and move up. Trying to pin the bigger tb based bc's is a waste of energy as you'll use more energy per hit and much higher chance of failing a hit, hitting weakest bc is using your energy at it's best. That's my opinion for beta wars any way.
Lol if only we could make sure we arent the bottom of the club Zach i was a target and I wasnt even near the bottom ? Its amazing how different war is when you only have 2 hours. Its definitely a learning experience.
It takes time to get tb in top 100 Zack. And, Raven I was #24 in my second war; total target. I was told to take the hits and not sp under any circumstances.
