This is the sequel to 'Thinking of You'. If you have not read it, I recommend that you should before reading this one. But, if you don't want to, that's all right. --- Here we goo..
Part 1: Jenna's Point of View "Come on angel, it's time to wake up." I opened my eyes and saw my Dad's brown eyes staring down at me. "You have an honor's society meeting today." He reminded me. Honors society is for kids with straight A's, they tutor all high school kids no matter what their age. I'm the first and only sophomore that has ever been on it. My dad says I got my brains from my mom. "Come on, get dressed, take a shower. Do whatever it is you do." He got up and went out of the room. I heard his footsteps as he went downstairs. I sighed and got up. My feet dragged my body over to the bathroom I shared with my older brother. A shocked look spread across my face when I ran straight into the door. I knocked. "Come on Carter! Get out of the bathroom! I have to shower!" The door opened and Carter's head poked out. He had a toothbrush sticking out of the side of his mouth and shaving cream around his face. "Give me a sec, okay? I'll be right out. Promise." His head disappeared again. About a minute later he opened the door, walking out wearing his usual. One of Dad's jerseys and a pair o sweatpants. Carter thinks it's the coolest thing ever that our dad plays for the Celtics, and it is pretty cool. "Sorry sis." He gave me a small smile and then went downstairs. "Lookin' pretty fly there bud." I heard dad say. I could picture him and Carter doing their little handshake. I rolled my eyes and took a shower. I got out and got dressed. Jeans, uggs, and a nice shirt. I straightened my hair and put on a little bit of make-up. Not a lot, my parents are big on the whole 'natural beauty' thing. I walked downstairs to see my parents laughing over something. "Guys, come on." I groaned. They both turned to me. My mother clasped her hands together and smiled at me. "Oh honey! Jenna, you look so beautiful!" Dad pulled mom closer to him and kissed her cheek. It was amazing how much taller than her he was. "She does get her looks from you baby. Of course she's beautiful." I groaned again and looked at Carter. They grossed me out with how much they loved each other. I mean I guess it was good, but they could tone it down a little around us. "Ready?" Carter asked me. I nodded. "Do you have everything? Books, practice stuff, uhm .. pencils..?" He always went through a checklist with me before we even leave the house. I nodded again. "Can we just go? I'm going to be late for the HS meeting." Carter nodded. He was a senior this year, and just like our parents, he was amazing at basketball. I was pretty good as well, we were both starting point guards. "Yeah come on." He turned back to mom and dad. "Bye guys. Love you!" He shouted and closed the door behind us. Carter got into the front seat, and I got into the passenger's seat. "Do we have to pick anyone up?" I asked. Normally we would pick his girlfriend Taylor up and I would have to sit in the back. He shook his head. "Nope. Tay got a car for her 17th birthday." I nodded, the rest of the ride we drove in silence. Well, not complete silence, the radio was playing. Carter also had insane music abilities. Every time I would sing, I sounded like a cat being tortured. We got to school and Carter and Carter and I went our separate ways. I walked into the library, where the HS meetings always were. It was the normal stuff, talking about how well that the students we tutored were doing. I hadn't been assigned anyone yet, so I was always just awkwardly sitting there. You know, being awkward. The meeting was dismissed, I shrugged my backpack onto my shoulders and put my gym bag onto the other. I spun on my heels and turned to leave but Mr. Palin's voice called me back. "Miss Bennett?" I turned to find him staring down at a piece of paper. "Yes, sir?" I asked. Why couldn't I leave? "We have found someone for you to tutor. It will be a challenge, but we know you can do it." I glanced down at the paper he was holding. My eyes widened. No. I will not tutor that stuck up, self-centered son of a b*tch. I managed to choke out a few words. "Y-You want me to tutor MASON PARKER?!"
