In Kingston, Jaimaca a gay man was rescued from an angry crowd of more than 200 people trying to beat him with sticks and bats because he was trying on lipstick. A witness says that she and some Friends saw the man take out a tube of lipstick and apply generously onto his lips making a smacking noise at the end. They then shouted at him and gay bashed him.even threw stones at him in which caused him to seek refuge inside a clothing store. The bystanders quickly spread news that a gay man was inside a clothing store which resulted in more than 200 people standing outside and forcing the owners and employees to lock all doors and windows and called the police and swat team force. An hour later he was shoved in a car and later was told to be under constant supervision. His house is now guarded by a swat car and two police officers. ummm what? I'm not an advocate of homosexuality or cross-dressing, or transgender, but that's just inhumane Nowhere on earth should anyone for any reason need a swat team to protect their home for fear that everyone in their own community will show up and beat them senseless. WHAT IF HE WASNT GAY?!?! WHAT IF HE WAS JUST TRYING IT ON FOR FUN?!? Moreover so what if he's gay. That doesn't give anyone the right to abuse him like that. Those people need to be arrested. It's a bit depressing to think this still happens but even so, the guy should have known better than to do that in public, especially in a country such as Jamaica, where tolerance towards homosexual men isn't as acceptable as in other countries.
