  1. Would you rather be poor in a country that gives you free education, free healthcare, and a buncha free stuff...
Or would you rather be in a country where the cost living is super high..
    No free education
    Or healthcare
Or none of that good shiet
But you have a 80% chance of being rich and with abundance
    Clock is ticking

  2. Free shit. With my luck i would be the 20% that doesnt make it. Also even people who are rich can get into shit and lose everything. Having to pay for basic human rights like healthcare is bulshit

  3. But what if you the 80% tho why look down on yourself like dat

  4. Coz adhd and executive dysfunction 😂 will see what meds do when i eventually get them but from what i can see atm im never gonna have permanent work coz i keep getting hurt from coz got distracted or doing to much coz hyper focus

  5. Most of us are living option two already lmao gotta love America.

I say unionize and make the United Nations an interplanetary government system we all live under and all countries sign a treaty.
Military budgets go towards disaster relief and we all pay our taxes to one organized system. We pick our leaders and hold the acting government responsible. All government documents are unclassified and all government spending is easily found online for anyone to read in any language.

  6. What the fuck fantasy world you living in that most people are classified as rich. In my country alone....majority of people are closer to poverty compared to people closer to a comfortable living state. Meaning earn enough money to cover outgoings + money left over to have fun and live life

  7. On a different note, but same line of thinking, I’m a big fan of believing we all have choices. I grew up in an extremely poor area, but I can say I make six figures now and so do a couple of my friends from the same area.

Poor and wealthy are both relative. If you use the resources (free public education, scholarships, mentoring opportunities, public libraries/recreations) I don’t see how you could not become “wealthy”

As much as I sympathize with the “poor” I always have to look at their life choices because it’s just as hard to struggle as it is to come up.

I think with a stricter and possibly (I wish it already was) better funded schools there arent many reasons (besides disabilities) for people to be “poor” in America.

I say start with removing the ‘no child left behind’ policy in schools. That’s when rural literacy took a fucking plummet. In America at least. I’m not too sure about other countries. It’s probably poor leadership. I can say as corrupt as the government here can be, I think they provide a good cushion for people to live on even if they put zero effort into advancing in this world.

  8. Also, I say it’s relative because if everyone was wealthy then nobody would be wealthy. The standard of living would raise and we’d all be equally cushy. Vice versa with being poor.
The only way everyone would be wealthy would be under a system with income distribution or a dictatorship lol.

  9. Here the average rent is $550 - $850 a week. So for many people....at least 80% of their weekly wage goes on rent alone. The only places cheaper is rent a room instead of a house, or live on the streets. Or old run down houses that are full of holes. Average house price for buying in the country is over 1 million. Food and groceries in general is insanely expensive. Like this weekend the weekly shop costed me $100 and it barely filled 2 bags and i only got basic necessitys. You can barely survive now days unless you earning super big bucks

  10. Yeah I get that. My first apartment was $1200 a month. I was shitting myself. I was working full time as a tech without travel and it ate my entire first check. I got a job offer in a pretty big city and I was so shocked when I had to start apartment hunting. I did have a really nice apartment downtown I can’t lie, but the other options were still close to 1K a month and not as nice.

That’s why I think education is so fundamental. It opens so many more doors and opportunities for money. Struggling to buy groceries or pay your car note is so emotionally taxing.

I just need to do a TedTalk at this point lmao

  11. Notice how you are saying per month and im saying per week. You lucky as fuck having it that cheap

  12. I literally couldn’t afford to pay that per week it would have eaten my entire salary so I have to assume you make bank wow. It has to be six figures or close.

But yeah I would rather shoot my self in the right foot. However I’m looking for places in California and that’s about the rent there. I’m terrified.

  13. Got lucky at getting this place at 550 a week but its a struggle. Cant afford any higher thats for sure

  14. I would rather be poor but have free education, free healthcare, and the other free stuff because at least I will be able to learn and have other opportunities which can help me get a better economical status.
Free Education —> Study hard —> Good College —> Get a job —> Get a better job —> Have a higher salary —> Have a better life
