  1. Bluhhhhhhhhh I'm still doing New Beginnings but the plot is all jibberishhhhh

might have to do a revamp lmao

This isn't really a story, just a piece of a possible prologue to a possible story that might possibly happen sometime in the possible (nowimjustthrowingpossibleinrandomlylmao) future. It's not a drabble, and I haven't done this before, so let's just see how this'll turn out. Probably horribly, I dunno.

    "Hello, Archibald."

A saccharine caramel-like voice rang in the air, no doubt belonging to Mrs. Forsyth. She was holding her eight year old daughter by the hand, while holding an expensive designer bag in the other. Her platinum blonde hair (presumably dyed) was done up in a tidy bun, and she walked in a regal manner, almost as if to intimidate the Edevane family in their own household.

    "Welcome, Diane."

Archibald raised his eyebrows and extended his hand, albeit a bit reluctantly. Mrs. Forsyth stared at his bony fingers with apprehension, before hesitantly sticking out her pudgy hand to shake his. Archibald's sons merely stared at the meekly girl, before looking back at their father expectantly, only to see him in a heated discussion with the girl's mother.

"Well what are you waiting for?" Agnes hissed, his tone heavily implying his dislike for the newcomer, "get out!"

Caroline met his disapproving gaze with a slight tilt of the head, before saying something highly inappropriate in French, that made Marcellus laugh at his brother, who was blushing a deep shade of red. Their parents were still oblivious to their children's presence, and since the two couldn't care less about the meeting held in their father's office, they quickly absconded with the girl in tow.

    "So, dollface, what's your name?"

"I'd prefer it if I wasn't referred to as something as shockingly bad and ridiculous as 'dollface'." she replied non-chalantly. This time, it was Agnes' time to laugh. Marcellus was quickly taken back by the way she spoke to him. Ignoring his brother, he glared at her, expecting some sort of intimidated reaction, but receiving none. She simply yawned and stuck her hands into the pockets of her designer red coat, not bothering to apologize for her behavior. Agnes continued to laugh obnoxiously, before it died down and the atmosphere filled with awkward silence. By now, Caroline was fiddling with the buttons on her coat in a fond manner, not paying mind to the brothers, one of which looked at her with interest while the other continued leering.

"I'm bored." it was the first thing she said after minutes of silence, and Agnes was the first to respond, quickly blocking his brother's mean responses.

"We've got board games!" all disapproval he had of Caroline soon evaporated, replaced with curiosity. The eight year old before him had somewhat of an vocabulary for her age, and her attitude was different from most of the other girls his father had requested to be brought in, for reasons still unknown. Marcellus, on the other hand, was twitching.

"I refuse to let this rude little brat into our room!", he shouted.

Agnes hissed at his brother, "ignore him, he holds grudges quite often."

    "I do not!"

    "Do to!"

Caroline let slip of a smile before interrupting.

"As much as I find siblings quarreling to be quite entertaining, I'd appreciate it if we didn't waste more time being unproductive and actually do something meaningful or worthwhile."

The Edevane brothers ceased their bickering almost immediately. Marcellus was still red with frustration while Agnes smirked.

"Right this way, milady!" he chirped.
