I'm going to write a slightly cliché story here... ----- 'Love. It all starts from attraction. Hiding behind the columns at school, looking starry-eyed at that goofball you've always admired... Looking through thick glass as he walks away from that girl you've always envied... Smiling when he drops his glasses and looks around for them... Hoping... For that one special chance.' ----- "It's raining today." "... Yeah." Adjusting your glasses, you look at the window as the raindrops continue to fall, the pitter patter noises penetrate the glass. "You're looking down today." "Mhmmm." Dismissing the fact she's trying to start a conversation with you, you just shift uncomfortabbly in your chair ad you try to imagine yourself at school, a pencil in one hand and a sheet of paper in the other. "You're ignoring me." "You don't say..." Trailing off as you remember that moment, where both of you looked eachother in the eye then ran away from the intensity neither of you could handle. "Vivian?" "..." Reminiscing... those moments you've shared, as you hold that notebook in your hand, biting your bottom lip, drawing beads of blood... Thinking about what could've been your happy ending with him... What could've been a perfect future. "Jack's here." And in that moment, you snap back to reality, jumping out of your chair, combing your hair with your fingers before dusting your outfit and running to the door. ---- "Jackson?!" "Yeah, I don't get it. Why does my sister even give a shit about him? He's only a nerd." "He's cute, smart, has a wonderful personality—" "You don't say?" Julie Beauregard was holding a thin straw between her lips, gulping down the strawberry flavored liquid that went down her throat. As time passed, she kept glancing at her love interest, Micky Valentines. "That's so usual of you, Julie. You're way too overprotective of your sister!" "She's young, and can easily be tempted by the wiles of a masculine creature such as—" "That's your extreme feminist side, Julie! Ha, I bet that's why we got together. Couldn't stand guys?" "Maybe you were too cute for me to resist." As the girls laughed, Micky tossed her hair back before looking Julie dead in the eye, the look in her eyes without mirth before twinkling with emotion again. "Don't put that charm on me, Julie, it won't work, you big flirt!" "You know you love it!" ----
