She lays there fragile, Her body so white, A tear slithers down her cheek, As she says her final goodbye. Her blue ocean eyes, Gently closes down, Her pink plumpy lips, Utter no word. Her hand on her heart, She's a girl of her word. Her promise not broken, Her lips form a smile. Her blood stained dress, Now clean as a tear. She rises off the ground, Her soul in the air. She searches for light, Up in the clouds, She spots her destination, Aha she yells! Limelight shines on her, She gladly accepts, Her admission to heaven, Is such a gift. She reaches the light, Touching his hand, Her smile broadens as she sees our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He takes her to Heaven, Where she may rest, Forever in peace, Her promise is kept.
