Shugo Angels

  1. My tears hit the window pane, my nose red and stuffy.
I watched as they lowered her lifeless body into the ground,
I inside to sick to leave,
Her outside taking the light along with her on her journey,
I am the cause of her death,
I am the one they wanted dead.
    Not her,
Not the light to our life’s
    But me,
The darkness feared for so long.
    They killed the wrong twin,
    Now she’s gone,
Leaving me alone the last Shugo Angel,
In a world that so sourly wants me dead.

HA-CHU! I sneezed loudly walking through the halls of the library where, hopefully, people will be waiting for me to both watch and protect me or kill me. Either way I don’t care I hate living when you spend every waking moment hiding from almost the whole world because they blame you for killing their world’s light. My twin sister was accidentally killed in my place, she was never suppose to die because lets face it when it comes down to it if there was two baby shugo angels born together one holding the light of the world and happy summer days and the other holding the darkness of the world and stormy glooming days it’ll be pretty obvious who they would want dead if they had to choose and they did, me.
I stopped as I came across a glass cabinet reflecting my image back at me. My pitch black pixie styled hair pulled back into two small pom, pom styled pigtails. My small and delicate face and almost transparent white skin making me look weak and helpless, like I was made of glass and even the tiniest scratched could ruin me. But the truth is I’m fast, strong, and no how to keep all emotion off my face. My small frame makes me look about 14 maybe 15 when I’m really 19. My clear blue almost green right eye and my dark brown almost black left eye showing no emotion I’m feeling. As I continued to look I felt, and watched, a single tear fall from my clear eye. Those eyes remind me so much of her, my sister Storm, they’re the same as hers except her blue eye is on the left and the brown on the right. Taking a deep breath I stepped away from the cabinet and towards the back of the library thunder crackling around me with a wind so fierce I could hear it in the building.
