I was requested to remake this thread: Channels are chat sections like tutor, club, and world chat tabs. Places where we speak to other players My question is; do we need more? Like recruiting, trading etc I think it be a good idea. Maybe even post mods to make sure no other channels leak out into others. I don't know it's just a thought
With any innovation, I think there are two basic elements that need to be considered: its potential, and its processes. In this case OP, I would agree with you that the potential benefits of additional chat channels definitely exist. In fact, there are probably a number of people who would think this useful. Unfortunately at the procedure end of things is where I see a lot pf problems: implementing such channels may be easy enough, but maintaining these channels (via mods or otherwise) would be extremely time consuming and difficult. I don't know in this case therefore, if the procedures will be worth the potential. Particularly with the number of trolls around...
No support, not neccessary and everybody wont actually post in the specific channel and there would need to be more mods like a lot of them ... just maybe do something with the pervs and have that world chat back.
I do believe there have been 2 other threads suggesting similar things. And many have commented. We dont need rewrites of threads mentioning the same stuff. Maybe join these other threads instead.
No support it's get confusing and just be extra work for the mods to do. It's get too full on. WC is made for everything.
