My girlfriend wants me to watch her 2 kids tonight while she has a night out with the girls.. I told her I was uncomfortable with the idea.. But she insisted that I was being a selfish asshole who's too controlling.. What should I do?
Tell her no. If you dont wanna look after them then you dont wanna look after them. But then also if you not ok with looking after kids just break up with her and find a chick without kids
I agree with Dinos suggestion. Reiterate that you are in no way comfortable watching her children right now (either because you’re not big on kids or because it’s a new relationship). Open and honest communication is key. And then ask yourself if you can see a future with a person who already has children and if you’re willing to step up in that way or not because it’s not fair to either of you to be only half committed to her if you don’t see yourself ever being comfortable with her kids.
Absolutely not. Her kids are not your responsibility in the slightest. And it’s highly irresponsible and unsafe for women to leave their kids with their boyfriends**. ** as a general rule of dating is what I’m referring to, not the character of OP.
