Story 1; The Unfortunate Cat Tomlin Pigglefink was a cat whose ego was as large as his frame but he was not very smart. He was actually very dumb. One sunny day Tomlin Pigglefink saw a rose bush. It smelled so beautiful he decided it would be lovely to sleep in. But since he was, well, fat, it took a while to reach the top of the rose bush, but when he finally did get to the top he felt lots of prickles and to tell the truth it actually hurt. Since he was dumb, he ignored it and settled down for a nice nap. It was late in the afternoon when he woke up and he realized with a jolt that the rose bush was eating him! Actually the rose bush was not eating him, but in fact because he was so fat he was sinking. And pretty much every thorn he passed clung onto him. Of course he didn't know this because his brain was as small as a mosquito. He continued to fall DOWN DOWN DOWN!!! Clu-thump clu-thump clu-thump clu-thump! He landed at the bottom of the bush and saw a stream of gold light. The sun. The shaken car crawled toward the opening... The next thing Tomlin Pigglefink knew he was lying in a bad at kitty hospital. Kitty Dr. Tuna Baloona was standing over him. Dr. Tuna Baloona was actually a girl cat. A very pretty kitty. "Am I in heaven?" Tomlin said. Dr. Tuna Baloona just rolled her cat eyes and meowed, "You are going to have to stay in bed for a week! No exceptions!" and with that she walked away. It seemed like an eternity while he waited to leave. Finally after a long time he got out of bed, even though only 4 minutes had passed. So he left Kitty Hospital after leaving a love note for Dr. Tuna Baloona at the front desk. As he was leaving he saw the biggest tree ever! He decided that he was going to climb it like normal cats would. So he climbed and he climbed and he climbed and he climbed. Finally he got to a branch at the middle of the tree. As he sighed a breath of relief an army of angry squirrels with some sort of bad disease like rabies or something came up behind him. The leader of the squirrel army yelled, "Squirrels ATTACK!" and the squirrels started hurling acorns at him. Tomlin Pigglefink fell out of the tree by surprise and broke both front legs and his tail. He woke up in Kitty Hospital. Dr. Sammy Whiskers was standing over him. Dr. Sammy Whiskers was a very pretty girl tabby cat. "Are you an angel?" Tomlin Pigglefink stupidly asked. Dr. Sammy Whiskers just rolled her eyes and meowed, "You're going to have to stay in bed for a month! No exceptions!" and with that she walked away. For what seemed like an eternity he had had enough. But he fell asleep. Unfortunately he sleep walked. And he sleep walked out of the hospital, through the woods and into a deep deep lake. He was sinking and he was running out of air. But in Canadian terms he was drowning. When he hit the bottom of the lake a golden stair case appeared. And like any dead cat, he climbed it. How he loved being a cat! Because remember.. Cats have 9 lives! And that was the end of Tomlin Pigglefink's first life. Lol. Js, I wrote this is Grade 5
