Sexual Orientation in PIMD: Going Beyond RP!

I wanted to take a moment to talk about something on my mind for a while. As it is no longer against ToU to talk about sexual orientation in a personal manner, there has been much debate on how this only helps people who Roleplay in an obscene way.

However, I do not believe this is entirely the case. People like myself find it hard sometimes to find people who truly understand what its like to accept oneself as being gay, lesbian, transgender, etc. We feel alone sometimes, as we are the minority of people and sometimes need someone who has dealt with similar issues that need to talk about it or just need a friend to make sure they don't feel as alone.

Yeah, yeah many peole are like, "pimd isn't a dating app! Use eHarmony for that shit!" But if someone is gay, and they want to find friends, many people misconstrue this as simply looking for sexual gratification.

There are also those who still hate on those who aren't straight. It's alright to have a different opinion on it, but do not judge a person simply because they want to talk to other s who simply have the same sort of views, and questions.

My pm is always open, should you have any need of assistance. Gay in world chat does not equal wanting sex. I just wanted to clarify this point fire people who are continually disrespected on pimd for it.

I am gay, and I'll continue to support the community.

Please don't turn this into any sort of religious debate, I don't want this to turn into any sort of forum war.

Flintstone, all that I ask for is respect for those who ARE LGBT, regardless of your beliefs. Just because someone doesn't support it doesn't give anyone the right to trash talk someone based on their sexual orientation.
