There is a section in the Terms of Use of Pimd entitled "Ownership". This section explicitly states that all accounts created on pimd and all items held on those accounts (showcase, avatars, ecs, so forth) ultimately belong to a.t.a and that our access to these accounts and pixel items may be given or taken at whim by a.t.a. But most crucially, the "ownership" section of the Terms of Use uses this fact as a basis to prohibits the exchange of accounts or pixel items granted by a.t.a for real, monetary gain. A few minutes ago I posted in campus saying that I was "selling my items". Somebody asked if that meant I was quitting the game. A strange question? Why would I sell my items for other in-game items if I was quitting? The supposition was that I was not selling my items for other in-game items, but that I was aiming to profit from my pixels, so rewardingly granted to me by a.t.a. But this is against the rules and people get their accounts banned for that sort of stuff. This is a game after all, not a business. Not a business for the customers anyway :') They're meant to enjoy the game
