I got a job . Its my first time and its a sale promoter . Promotes children books age 3 to 12 . The problem is I'm a soft spoken and my self-esteem level is very low.I lost my words whenever people asks me or talk to me.I dont have any confidence. Please guide me.I'm working now.I think people don't come here much because I don't know how to attract them to buy my books.
I don't know why its so hard to get my confidence back . What should i do about my mindset ? I'm worried . Anyway , thanks for helping me .
Just smile and be yourself, keep head up and use eye contact. Sounds more like your just really shy. Don't think about your selfesteem, just talk to whom you must, and it'll get easier each time. Just like anything else, u need a little practice, thats all.
If you think talking to adults is hard, try communicating with the kids. Try to think of them as your nieces or nephews. Fool around with them like waving or smiling or give them a sniggering face. For the adults, just tell yourself that this is a friend. You can talk to a friend right? Just a normal convo opener, like Hi Sir/Maam, How are you today? Then anticipate their respond. If you feel nervous, take a pause and breathe. Calm yourself and tell yourself this is nothing. Look at the books you are selling and tell yourself you can do this. You can totally do this. If you get rejected, don't be sad, don't feel too disappointed, some people can be idjits. Just tell yourself one obstacle gone, lets do another!
"Today you are you, that is truer then true. There is no one alive who is youer than you."-Dr. Seuss Hi️ the best thing to improving ur low self esteem is to remove ur self criticism, don't care what others think, be proud for who you are, think positive about yourself, (look where you've came the only thing stopping u is urself) don't worry about being "perfect" bc ur already amazing, and lastly don't be afraid to have self appreciation I know that's a lot and saying is easier then doing; but it just comes done to believing in ur self. Also for you having a quiet/shy voice, just embrace the challenge and remember yes I can. Eventually ur yes I can will be yes I did. Lastly you are unique You may not think that the world needs you, but it does. For you are unique, like no one that has ever been before or will come after. No one can speak with your voice, say your piece, smile your smile, or shine your light. No one can take your place, for it is yours alone to fill. If you are not there to shine your light, who knows how many travelers will lose their way as they try to pass by your empty place in the darkness?
