  2. Perhaps 'changed the world' is more appropriate.

    The apple in the garden of Eden wasn't actually an apple, neither did it belong to Adam.

    And there's no proof that an apple fell near Isaac Newton, it certainly didn't save the world.

    But yes, RIP Steve Jobs. Even though he did a lot of drugs and constantly parked in disabled spaces.
