Regarding Relationship Feedback

Discussion in 'Past Announcements' started by pimd, Oct 28, 2014.

  1. Hello everyone,

As you know, our goal for the relationship feature was to create a more varied experience for players to enjoy. By working together players are able to forge closer connections as well as employ new strategies in PvP, Wars, and Parties. While there are already many players out there making use of this new feature in this way, it’s clear to us that some of you are not satisfied with its current implementation. We are sorry to hear this and do understand where your frustration comes from.

As this is a new feature, it’s something that’s bound to evolve over time and we value all feedback that is presented in a constructive manner. We do however want to remind you that engaging in actions against the Terms of Service and Forum Code of Conduct is not acceptable behavior.

While some of you may feel that this feature is changing what is allowed to take place in public channels, rules regarding inappropriate content and the like have not changed. We intend not for this feature to disrupt your gameplay, but instead to enhance everyone’s gameplay.

We too want to see this great game continue to thrive and grow and assure you that the PIMD you know and love is still here.

    Sincerely,
    The PIMD Developers

  7. Nice to see a reply, if this feature caused more problems then anything else would you consider adjusting it so that single players aren't at such a disadvantage?

Next time you ask us for ideas and then you throw your own out, can you Atleast let us vote for what the PLAYERS want. Remember what is this game without its players ;D

Your mods don't even like it

  10. Pretty much in order to get anywhere in the game anymore it's use the button or you can't enjoy the other half of pimd such as pvp and wars. Since most have hopped on this button like its the hottest thing ever, it's hard to compete without it...

Ps, there are other things Yall could have done besides this button. ️

  11. ^^^^ what Raven said

Yea my real life fiancé doesn't play this game and he ain't about to on the account of me wanting to change my "PIMD relationship status•

  13. Pimd I hate to say it, but you might wanna make a few adjustments to it now. Your players aren't happy and are unfortunately leaving. If you value the feedback so much, do something about it instead of forum banning and silencing players. Taking away someone's voice because you don't like their opinions on a feature isn't the way to go, you will loose those players, and these players are the ones spending on your game.

  14. WHAT IS THE GAME WITHOUT ITS PLAYERS?

  15. What did you think it would encourage you
morons? You have a game with existing problems with people constantly breaking the tou asking for sexual content, so design a feature allowing people to become couples. You're ENCOURAGING this behaviour.
And people aren't 'enjoying' this feature as much as using it to keep up since they have to.
Read the feedback in forums. That's what people are telling you!

  16. Anyone noticed a lack of mod interaction lately? I sure have, they lurk, once upon a time they were in wc and forums, talking and joking with other players, now they just silence and log off.

You say pimd hasn't changed yet those who don't want to engage in this feature are punished, they are weaker, they cant get certain gifts, stat boosts, kind of unfair.

  17. Who ever came up with this idea should be here telling us what they hoped to gain from it, front up and let us know why you went against all the feedback you were given?

  18. I have a mental image of a pimd developer (a nervous guy wearing an ATA tshirt), continuously walking into a closed door, while repeating "if i tell people to like it enough times they will".

I wonder when the penny will drop that the brand image damage you are self-inflicting will impact not just PIMD, but all your companies current and future offerings.
