He wrapped his arms around my waist, and I put mine around his neck. He suddenly pulled away. I sat there, looking confused and innocent. Now I sit here in my room, rethinking about last night. We were at his treehouse, basically his house. His eyes were red, indicating that he would be deadly and couldn't control himself. I kept thinking aboutDarin until somebody jumped in from the windows. "AHHHHH!!!!!" The mysterious figure put a hand around my mouth. "Shh!!! Its me, Daniel!" "Daniel, WTH!!!" "Sorry! Darin asked me to send you this, no idea what it is but, meh. Clan leaders are very suspicious." I smiled and gave him a peck on the lips as a goodbye. He blushed a vivid red and I laughed and playfully slapped his shoulder. "You do know I have a crush on you. Right? Are you torturing me with those red luscious lips of yours?" He winked and jumped out the window. He had a crush on me?! Wow. Then I thought again, why did he say that I had red- DARIN! "Did you say my name?" I looked around to see him next to my bed, smiling. "Darin! Wait, no smoking." He was smoking a cigarette and my mom might find out. "Chillax! Just a cig." "Darin." "FINE." He threw it out the window and I just giggled. "What's so funny?" "Look at your hair!!" His hair was usually short and curly, and it was brown. But this time, it looked like a grizzly bear sat on it! I kept laughing that I fell on the floor, still laughing. "OMG!!! So hard to breathe!!!" I kept laughing. Seriously, if you were there, you'd be laughing too. He grabbed a mirror and took a closer look. He DID look like a grizzly bear. He just grinned and pinned me on the floor, his grin very wide. I just giggled and gave him a peck on the cheek. "Darin, will you get off?" "Nope." Then he kept nuzzling my hair and made grizzly bear noises. I kept laughing until my mom walked in. I saw Darin hiding in the shadows. "Dawn, is everything alright? I heard grizzly bear noises and some laughter. Did a grizzly bear attack and tickle you?" I tried not to laugh. Tickle?! "No mom, a werewolf attacked me and tickled me. He was just half grizzly bear and made those noises." It was half true! Although he wasn't half grizzly. "Ah.. Okay sweetie. Get some rest." "Sure mom!" Mum closed the door and I stood there, giggling. Then Darin came out of the shadows and pinned me on the bed. "Yo. Half grizzly bear? Nuh uh. Look at me, I'm 100% boyfriend material!" He ripped off his shirt and showed of his tan muscles. I laughed and slapped his arm away. "Yeah. Half grizzly bear ya big show off!" I threw my pillow at him. We had a pillow fight for a few minutes until I got sleepy and tired and fell on the bed. "Yawn... You better go Darin. I'm sleepy..." "Nah, I'm staying." "Darin!! My mom!!" "Dawn!! I don't care!!" He jumped on the bed and gave me those puppy eyes of his. "They're not gonna work THIS time!" Last time, he used it to give him my beef steak that was MY lunch. "Hey babe, I'm not begging for food here." "Darin!! I don't care!!" He growled at me and I gave him a death glare. "Seriously? Threatening your girlfriend just to sleep over at her place?" "Yeah. What you gonna do about it?" "THIS!" I threw a pillow at him and I laughed. "Fine. Not my fault if we're late when we go to school or when we get busted by my mom." Darin's POV ---- Dawn fell asleep and I looked at her. She was so peaceful... I looked out the window. "Daniel." Daniel appeared. There were 3 rival wolf clans and we were rank one. Daniel here is the co-leader. I'm the leader. "Yes Darin?" "Tell me more about mortal infatuation." He looked at me suspiciously then at Dawn. "Darin. Seriously?" "Just shut up and tell me." "Fine." He told me about infatuation all sorts of ways to deal with them. He told me what kind of ways to show them too. "You know, you have to choose her sooner or later. The other clans might get her before you do." Then my mind snapped. --- flashback --- Dawn was walking home until she nearly got hit by a car. Then I strode in the scene. I appeared in front of her and stopped the car with just my hand. "Darin?" I was a new student here and I didn't talk to many people that day. I nodded at Dawn and looked at her closely. I knew it was her. She was the girl in the prophesies. It was said we should look for a girl whose hair was brown like caramel and eyes like violet (too much boring detail) "Do you need me to take you home?" "Uhh... Not really." I could tell she needed one. I picked her up bridal style and I ran to the address she told me. "Thank you Darin." Our faces were so near and we were ready to kiss until she pulled away.
