I know there's a lot of gameplay on RDR2 story mode; could play for weeks just to 100% the game. I recommend having friends to play online with otherwise it can be easy to burn out on it after a short time.. Never fully played RDR1 though.

Sort of? Rdr1 has side quests if you're interested in doing those. Rdr2 has the same thing to do side quests. I haven't finished the main story because I've been doing the side quests hunting animals ?

Eh not necessarily. It’s not endless. But I love read dead. I haven’t played the second one though

No you can’t

 

RDR 2, you can modify all weapons except for the unique ones. From barrell upgrades, scopes,etchings and engravings to give them a more "personalized" feel. Etcetera. There's a lot of gun mods in RDR 2
