it is incredibly disappointing that i woke up this morning to my thread meant to uplift the jewish community in the aftermath of a tragedy being locked. it speaks volumes about how engrained a disregard for jewish life is in our society that majority of the reactions to me saying jewish people deserve to live... were negative. i hope one day that their hearts soften, and that they are able to give and receive love. nevertheless, i remain steadfast in my affirmation that jewish people are important and necessary. their lives have value. jewish people deserve to live. they deserve to love. they deserve to be happy. and most of all, they deserve to be safe from prejudice based on their religion and/or ethnicity. my heart goes out to the victims and their families, the survivors and their families, and the jewish communities all over the world. most of all, i hope for healing, unity, and love. have a good day. requesting lock.
It was only one person that had a negative reaction. And anti-semitism is not actually that common in todays day and age. What happened was sad but this response criticizing everyone is odd.
Lol accidentally deleted that... but we all as people deserve love ️ Ok, then bye have a good day. ?
i am not crying, but there is nothing wrong with having empathy for your fellow human beings. several people had negative reactions. for example, Puppet and Kefco. Kefco's reaction is what directly prompted a mod to lock it.
Puppet is just a miserable troll he's not actually anti-semetic. Your first thread was enough, this is just virtue-signalling at this point.
i just wanted to reiterate my message so that it didn't get lost in the trolling and actual anti-semitism. fighting anti-semitism is really personal and important to me and since i didn't get a chance to respond before my thread was prematurely locked, i wanted to still respond. my intentions are not self-centered in doing so.
I missed it. Everone's entitled to think whatever they want about other people. Nobody's entitled to kill other people. Crazy people are just crazy and should be locked up in mental institutions.
it was a very quick thread unfortunately. i thought not mentioning any political discourse in relation to it (i.e., gun control or lack thereof) would prolong it. guess i was wrong.
