  1. Some tips for better negotiations

    1. Be open to offers... The more offers you hear, the more likely you'll be to hear a good one.
    2. Trade many items, even ones that you have a high sentimental value for. Again, this is for increasing chances of good deals.
    3. Call your trading partner by their name

      Tell them a joke

      Try to build rapport

    4. Compliment their items and be enthusiastic about the item
Not the trade - because if you're enthusiastic about the trade it may seem like you think it'll be in your favour.

    5. It may be beneficial to behave as if the trade is a risk for you and you're uncertain but your gut instinct is that the item is worth it.
    6. Make a high offer but not too high, just so they can make a counter offer
    7. Don't ask a price that's 5x the worth of the item... Be conservative with your margins. More trades are better than less. More trades = More smiles
    8. Offer to add something if they're uneasy on the deal
    9. Know the worth of your items.
    10. Make counter offers
    11. Trade unfamiliar items... Expand your knowledge of item worths... It's easy to get a knowledge edge by learning lesser-known items.
    12. Be specific about what you want and don't devalue it. Don't belittle the items you want, saying it's nothing. When people do that to me, I just ask them why they want the item and their tactic often falls to shambles.

I also encounter people who talk only about the stats on an item... I have an item not a number, I'm sure someone else is selling numbers

    13. Don't cuss them out when they decline your offers… there are more fish in the sea

Anyways do you have any other suggestions? Did I miss anything? Did these work for you? Comments.
