  7. Guess the solution to the differential equation t^3y''-ty'-y=2tcos2t

    Not gonna lie, the actual way to solve it is to guess at the solution and check if it works 

    While it is a guess, it's not a total random guess  you look at the right side and take derivatives and guess the solution is something that can take its form and its proportional to a constant. If the guess doesn't work then try adding an extra T to your guess.
