Christopher Lee So I know I am a bit late on this but a great actor died recently. This is Christopher Lee. He passed away on June 7th 2015 at the age of 93. He was a great actor most known for his role as Saruman and Count Dooku. Personally I am a huge fan of Lord of The Rings as he will certainly be missed. Saruman played quite a critical role in both The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings. Even though he betrays the other wizards. All is well though Gandalf is a White Wizard now after all. Anyway he was great for the role of Saruman. As for his role of Count Dooku. Not much of a Star Wars fan but I do like Star Wars. Count Dooku appears in the 1-3 Star Wars movies. He is most affiliated with the Separatist Alliance and the Sith in the Star Wars community. He of course is later killed by Anakin Skywalker as influenced by General Palpatine. May you Rest in Peace
Also fought the nazis in WW2, played the most well known incarnation of Dracula, the man with the golden gun, and was part of a heavy metal band releasing two albums, Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross and Charlemagne: The Omens of Death. He will truly be missed
*Sir Christopher Lee, he was Knighted for drama and charity in 2009.... He was also the Father of Willy Wonka in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... Clarney in Tim Burton's Dark Shadows, the voice of the JabberWocky in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, the Voice of DiZ in Kingdom Hearts, the Pastor in Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, in Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow, was in Gremlins 2, and if I remember right is the one who read The Nightmare Before Christmas Poem for the special features on the Collectors edition DVD. As a dedicated Burton/Disney fan, I feel this loss. His future projects will not be the same. There is not many Horror icons like Price and Lee in the world anymore, especially with unique voices, to just "replace" the void left. RIP Sir Christopher. And before anyone decides to call me out, yes. I know Gremlins is not Burton nor Disney, but who doesn't know Gizmo?? (If you grew up in the 90s).
