[Question] Does your device matter on Party Notifications?

Discussion in 'Questions/Feedback' started by Rynnethia, Mar 28, 2019.

  1. Hai, so. I'm an admin in a cc club now, wish my club some luck thenks.

But I was in an argument with someone and they said that:

I got her permission to post this so don't come at me. :[

    Which basically means:
When you hit with iOS or Android devices, you get more/less of those "[IGN] is partying!" depending on your device's software.

Like..is this a thing no one told me about? And if so, why would ATA do this? :[

Okay, das all. She made me make a thread.
Pls donut derail the thread with my battery percentage, ty.

  2. There's a lot of differences between the two software's. So I wouldn't be so surprised if it was the case.

  3. In the software? I know that perhaps their interface is different, but what part of their processing of the game differ from each other?

  4. Ive only used pimd on an android device, but even if the other person is using another kind of software different from yours, it should still show you the same amount of "[IGN] is partying!" in the logs

  5. Hmmm. In my experience, this is inaccurate. It will show their ign the same amount of times across both OS's. Tested on my iPad and Galaxy. My RS said it shows the same amount of times across her iPhone and Galaxy also. So it seems unlikely. Unless we're the exception. ??‍♀️

  6. So basically your girl be using dns ?‍♀️

  7. I have iOS so for some reason on this account , with UL it seems like a overhit, but when I check party history , I didn’t more like an underhit ‍♀️idk if that helps .

But with a smaller account , they give me a lot of hits and I sometimes go over .

Again idk if this helps , just something that happened

  8. I just realized that I could've just sent a help ticket on this, and I just did. :[ If ticket says something interesting, imma post ok.

Oh also, I'm interested in all the differences between iOS and Android, other than interface, if any. If ya'll know any, please post facts ty.

  9. But I however think she’s using dns cause not everyone has an android and I’m pretty sure the ones who doesn’t didn’t overhit ?

  10. Oh, this seems really interesting. What do you mean by "it seems like a overhit"?

  11. Normal UL is like 2 of those notifications right after another, right? If someone continuously has that much each beginning of a party, I'd be sus. But uhm... I'm kinda confused tbh. So much so that I'm not sure how to explain why I'm confused.

Edit: Oh wait! The amount of damage they do to a party is a easy way to tell. High damage means they hit from full regen and low is, well.... Low regen. That's probably shown on both devices.

  12. Also, I'm getting bossed around today ya'll. :[

So.. okay. I'm not even sure if any of you know how hit counting works but, basically:

Here's how to watch hits during CatCafe parties
EAT = person joining then name 2 more times
FACE = person joining then 4 more times
PEACE = person join then 2 more times
THIS IS ON FULL BARS ONLY!!!

    IF THEYRE ON HALF BAR
EAT = person join then 1 time
FACE = person join then 2 times
PEACE = person join 1 time

I know the screenshots don't do justice, cause it looks like Facepalm action is 3x, but there were actually 4. And then there's 1 for Peace Sign.

Now, if she just ULed on Facepalm, she'd have just 4 Facepalm actions. But she magically has 1 for Peace Sign?

Thoughts? Sorry, I know this is really childish but like.. idk let me be a kid and settle this. :[

  13. Damage isnt shown, not to mention, every stat would give off different damages. We might be able to check based on the number of hits but, you get more hits when you UL on Facepalm then you do on Eat, so it's unfair to check on that.

  14. Ooooh.... Sus. Good luck with that.

  15. That's alright. Thank you for replying so quickly! ❤️

  16. Her ign can show up one extra time if she instantly regened another 2 hits, which sometimes happens. It's not necessarily a dn. Which means you gotta wait until after the party to watch for her hit count.

  17. Two hits in particular? Will two hits result in one of those popping out?

And how would you watch for hit count? It seems like they can just hide the DNs by sneakily spreading it through eat/peace and they can just say they hit facepalm, and we wouldn't be able to refute it.

  18. Really quick, I'd like to point out in the last ss the person asking who's ata. Good stuff

  19. I checked the party history, and if she used a DN she masked it pretty well. She had 37 hits and made only $1.5B from the party, and didn't get max drops. If she used a DN, I say she was on low regen going into the party.

  20.
