This question is probably totally irrelevant to pimd gameplay, and useless, but it's an obscure pointless feature from my perspective, and one we all take for granted. So it'll make for some cool trivia quizzes for cc. If you hire 5, $1000 tutors once, they will be a variety of different prices. My question is twofold and is for the developers, or anyone with too much time on their hands: Why don't their hire values increase uniformly? What factors determine the increase in hire value, and what is the potential range? (Tutors don't become worth 16T after the first hire) #inb4nolife
<) I... assumed. But tutors eventually all differentiate in price. Like on the 100th hire, they'll be worth different amounts. I guess that 5% is done neatly when they're only $1000. But if there was a decimal place in the true result, maybe the algorithm rounds up or down randomly in stead of actually calculating the decimal and rounding properly?
I remember that someone said once a tut is dropped they aren’t on the original value curve. They will be a little different on their price path then someone that is never dropped.
Why do I keep gaining weight even though I am eating a lot less now a days. What's the algorithm behind this
Water weight. Your body is adjusting to your low calorie intake by retaining more water than usual. it'll go away pretty easily dw.
ive wondered the same and come to the same conclusion about the tut having been dropped at some point. it always kinda bothered me that some tuts on vip value have the exact same hv while some are off each other by a couple t. ie i tried to bump boxer and steven to the same hv but they ended up 2t apart which makes no sense with a consistent hv increase per hire unless they were dropped before i hired
The number of times dropped probably makes a difference. Being dropped at different prices then starting the increase at 5% would make them differ. Idk how much value is lost when dropped though.
