Hello! This thread is to post my poems and give you previews of some of the things I write and my writing style! Here's a thing I randomly wrote before, I was um kind of in a dark place but I also agree with this. "Why do people die mom?" I asked looking at her. She back at me, trying to explain. "Well...You see..." She struggles "Nobody really knows why people die. When someone dies all their hopes and aspirations dies with them. Everything they have ever dreamed of dies along with them but their accomplishments and spirit live on in the heart of their love ones. I think that we would eventually get tired of our life if we were immortal, if we were not to die then I think it would get boring. We've already reached all our goals and dreams. What more is there if we've already accomplished everything we've ever wanted? We would be doing the same thing over and over again once we reached our dreams. I think that we die because we can start anew after we die, we could be reborn again. We can have new dreams, new things we wish to do. There are many things we can stop but there are also many things we can't stop and death is one of them. But death gives us a chance to start a new life and have new opportunities. We can fix all the mistakes we've done in our past lives, sure we don't know what we did wrong in our past lives but we can still fix things without knowing we did something wrong. In all honesty death helps us rather than just destroy us." Elaine explained for my mom. "So I think we should be happy for the people who died instead of crying because they're starting all over again. I would want everyone to smile at my funeral instead of cry. Of course that's just my opinion, I'm still just a 13 year old girl so what exactly do I know right?" She said smiling at me. This is actually true for me Hope you enjoyed this bittersweet opinion
