  1. Dear short story readers and thread bumpers,
I was browsing through Fan Fiction and found lots of stories and and threads with about three pages of comments only! I could not help but feel that my stories were not to your liking and you didn't want to be rude. I have not had any comments what-so-ever and I feel like I'm hated or something.
Anyway, that is my little rant over. Feel free to comment on my newest story 'The Life of Janet Edenshaw'.
    Thanks.
    Jemma

  2. Writing a story is not about people saying "bump". It's nice to have, but it isn't the purpose of wiriting. If you write your stories purposely for the attention, not because you enjoy writing, then they may not be that great. Sounds cheesey, but they may lack passion.

Also, don't make a thread advertising it. ,_, If everyone did that then FF would be ****ed.

  3. But, if I don't get feedback, than I don't know what to improve on.

  4. People barely say that, it's ussually just "bump" or update". I'd recomend asking someone personally...

  5. Thank you! I love getting help.

  6. I barely get anything other than bumps too, infact, I mainly barely get those too. You don't see me making these threads. Maybe to tell everyone which stories are shut down instead of posting on EVERYTHING or announcing something, but not this. Here's a piece of advise I find helpfull. Instead of waiting for other to give you feedback give yourself feedback and improve on EVERYTHING.
