There's a difference between personal info and contact info. Personal info would be something like your age or location. Contact info is a piece of information that could be used to contact a user outside of pimd such as a telephone number or email address. In this case the user was silenced for sharing third party contact information.
Nothing stupid about silencing players for sharing contact information. We care about players and posting something like that could be dangerous.
