Hello So, I’ve been working on a little file that I think could really help with planning out a build here on PIMD. Throughout all my digging on the forums it doesn’t look like anything like this has been done so here is my attempt. What is it? PIMD Build Helper In a nutshell it’s a Microsoft Excel file that allows you to plug in different dormies and it will automatically tell you what your stats will be. This is helpful for many reasons: - Know what your stats will be before you spend - Figure out if it’s time to jump to the next tier or even skip a tier - Figure out if replacing a dormie or adding a room makes more sense - Plan how much money you need in order to get to a desired stat level - And probably more I’m not thinking about How does it work? I’ve basically created your dorm with all 62 rooms on an excel sheet. All you have to do is select a dormie spot that says “None” and a dropdown will appear for you to select a dormie. Once you’ve started filling rooms with the dormies you want the file will automatically calculate the stats of the build you’ve created. Things to Note - All dormies in the dropdown are at level 1. This is because most people know upgrading them doesn’t make a whole lot of sense unless you are going for max stats and also because it would’ve made the file much more complicated. - There is a Build Cost area that is calculated when filling in dormies. This box takes the cost of any filled room along with the cost of the dormie in it. It does not however take evictions into account. - Being an excel file – It is a lot easier to use this on a computer but will still work well on your phone. Just download the Microsoft Excel App. Time for pictures! This first picture is an example of what it looks like on the computer with the dropdown menu open This is an example of my current build plugged into it Note that there is two more sheets at the bottom for those that want to dig deeper into some of the data and info This is an example of what it looks like on a phone This is an example of the dropdown on a phone Where to find it? Ive uploaded it to TinyUpload which can be found HERE I would really appreciate feedback on this and will try to implement and ideas that are thought of in the future! Thanks!!
I think using its cost/stat might be a bit more helpful. I'm not sure though, I'm not one to calculate my build. Either way, great job! Love excel files oml
This is simply amazing and well appreciated for you to share with everyone! I'll be using it. thank you!
Thank you everyone! I'd love to eventually incorporate this into an app but I'd need to do a lot more research on how to do that.
