Pet Peeves What is your pet peeve(s)? Mine is when people sneeze into their hand instead of the crook of their elbow.
Slow walkers in the city... They are in the way of people trying to get places, and use the whole sidewalk.
People who are rude to their servers and tip little to no money for petty reasons that weren't even the server's fault. People who are rude to retail workers are pretty crummy too.
I once tipped a server $100 and the meal was like $150 I think. Either way she was really happy for that tip.
I work at a dog daycare and grooming salon. We don't get tipped a lot even though that's a "tip worthy" job. You have no idea how happy I am when someone gives me like a $5 tip for grooming their dog. It's so rare.
If you can successfully get my puppy to sit still long enough to behave and successfully groom her and dry get without trying to play, I'd pay for lunch, dinner, and tip you $100. Everyone who's tried tells me never bring her back.
To be honest I've been doing this for about 2 years now. I can groom well-behaved dogs, energetic dogs, aggressive dogs, you name it. Sometimes it takes a while, and I get a bit off-schedule, but it's totally possible. For instance: today I had to brush the teeth of a German shephard that was a nervous biter. I had to spend some time with him beforehand petting him and letting him sniff me and giving him some treats so he knew I wasn't a threat. With energetic dogs, I try to wear 'em out as much as I can before grooming them. Or you can turn it into a little training session and give them rewards for good behavior, like give them a treat for sitting and staying still.
