"Shhh." Somebody said covering my mouth as soon as my eyes opened. I saw nothing but black and the shadowed hand covering my mouth. My eyes darted atound as I tried to make out anything I could, and as my eyes started to adjust I saw I was in a very small, white room. I was on a hospital bed! I was in the hospital! But why are all the lights shut off? And why is this person standing in front of me making sure I stay quiet? "Oh shit. I thought you were going to have to die like all of them." A panicked, high pitched, female voice whispered. "Wait.. Wha-" I tried to speak but she tightened her grip on my mouth. "Shhh... I'll explain everything..." She whispered obviously monitoring her voice level. "You've been in a coma for about 6 months..." That was all I heard before the world shifted around me and it hit me that I had forgotten, everything. --- Short. Just to torture you all.
I stared into the eyes of the woman in front of me, as she opened her mouth to continue explaining. She froze still with her mouth open, and I looked closer not able to see anything else but her mouth. A red liquid started to drip out of the side of her mouth, and in the blink of an eye she disappeared into the dark, and you could hear her body being dragged across the smooth floors, and then down the narrow hallway that was outside the door. I flipped out of my hospital bed, and my back and head hit the cold floor with a thud. "Shit!" I exclaimed rolling over and slowly rising to my feet. I nearly tumbled over about three times, before successfully making my way to the wall closest. I leaned against it, trying to regain some strength. I know I didn't stand a chance, I was weak from not doing anything so long. My physical therapy will have to wait, because I have to move. I looked around trying to make out anything that could help me, and then had an idea when I saw one of the chairs for visitors. --- Sorry, they are short for a reason. ^…^
