  1. yo.

Tell us all about the gruesome injuries you've had where you were like hospitalized or on the doorstep of death

Be advised, the weak ones leave please as this might get saucy

  2. When I was eight, I shattered my left wrist (my dominant hand rip) while wrestling with a friend.

  3. I fell through a glass table and got my leg impaled and had to get 16 stitches and that was rough. Still can't feel some nerves on my foot because they all got severed

  5. None, but I gave birth and I felt like I was going to die. 

  6. I stuck an empty one of those huge 40oz. containers for like pretzels or cheese balls over my head when I was a toddler and I had to go to the emergency room so they could get it off because my parents could not.

  7. *literally does the complete opposite*

  8. I was rock diving off these 30ft rocks and when I jumped my pinky toe got caught under a rock at the bottom of the river and it cut it open and it was dangling onto my foot and I had to get it stitched back on

  9. Climbed up a tall fence and had a nail go straight through my palm when I was a youngster.

  10. There have been a few times I almost died as a child eating because when I choke I'm almost completely silent and my parents would not know I was choking until it was serious.

  20. November 2007 as a prison Guard in Guantanamo Bay Cuba everyone who was on call got called in. As we entered the prison, the guards that were on duty were lined up against the wall covered in blood(a prisoner on their shift harmed himself).

Anyways, I walked down the hall and my platoon sergeant told me to go to the tower. I went to the tower and they told me to go inside. I went inside and again my platoon Sergeant told me to go to tower and had to explain to the sergeant what Tower told me.

He took me the tower and told the other guards I needed to be there until further notice.

A few hours later, I was sent inside. I arrive at the cellblock I was to work in and was there about an hour and I started to feel weird. We had just moved a prisoner to the shower cell when their prayer time started, during that time we aren't allowed to make noise or move them out of respect for their religion. Anyways, I started to feel weird as though I was falling inside (trigger for my stress attack). I told the cellblock Sergeant and she told me to get some water. I told her I felt like I was falling inside and next thing I collapsed and started to have a stress attack (they look and mimic seizures). She called on the radio and had the cellblock door opened slightly to get me out and the prisoner in the shower cell got to see the whole thing.

Once outside that cellblock, someone told the naval medic I was stung by a bee and stabbed my leg with an epi pen right as I jerked my leg up causing the epi pen to drag down my leg. I was sent to the prison er to wait for the ambulance.

Inside the er, the prisoner who harmed himself was in there and I was placed on the bed next to him. The guard who was supposed to be guarding him didn't cuff him to the bed like she was suppose to and was out in the hallway flirting with the doctor. The surgical tools were on a tray between his bed and mine. I remember looking at him while still going through my episode and he was reaching for the scapel and that's when I blacked out.

I woke up in the er, and the first lieutenant was there telling me I was getting medvac to the states and I asked her if I got stabbed and she said no that the doctors walked in just to see him getting the scapel and stopped him. She said the other guard got demoted 4 ranks and was facing a court martial.

It's 11 years later, I've been diagnosed with ptsd and I still have severe nightmares around the time that happened in November. I wake up screaming and crying and in a cold sweat having difficulty breathing. I wasn't on the brink of death, but came real close to dying that day.
