Hi guys. I'm just wondering what your opinions on raffles are? I see quite a few of them around now days which has got me curious about the logistics. I also have a few questions... How long should they last for? Sometimes I see them lasting for weeks. Does this get annoying or do people prefer it? Entry methods - what do people prefer? The more you pay, the more entries you get (collectively with chibis, furni, mcs etc) OR only one entry per person? What kinds of things do people prefer to see up for grabs. Random furniture dorms/partially furniture dorms or full dorm sets? (I see a lot of people putting together a bunch of crap they cba to sell and people still enter *baffled*) Also 1st,2nd,3rd prize?? Do people prefer second and third prizes? (most I've seen are just boxes lol - suppose it's better than nothing?) Prices of entries - I see raffles such as: 1 chibi=1 entry 1 bento=100 entries (how if a chibi is only one entry lol) 1 piece of furni worth 'x' kcs/mcs= 'x' entries Overall, I'm curious (maybe a tad bored) soooooo give me your opinions ?

I always assume a few of them are a scam. They can easily let their alt win the "raffle" and just pocket the buy-ins. I've learned that typically in multi-player games, if it's an easy buck, don't trust it.
Agreed. I particularly feel this way the most when I see someone hosting their raffle on what's obviously already an alt. If you aren't up to anything then why can't you expose your main?
Many are scams but this can be easily detected via calculation. It's degenerate 'raffles' like these that should be eradicated.
