Well as far as I know, I haven't read in game rules anything about scamming being against the rules. However, I saw this on forums: I would have emailed them apes, but I chose to post here so we can all have full understanding of what is goong on rather than private. So ata, is scamming now against the rules ? and what exactly is your definition of scamming and evidence?
From my personal experience. When trying to warn others of people being scammers you will get silenced if a mod sees it. Which I think it's complete bs. But actual scamming I've never seen anyone get punished for it ?? Mods just ignore it and Silence the person that's making the accusation
It's complete bs. Oh yeah accuse someone you get silenced. But oh if it does happen please come to us for help !
i know, im just seeking clarification of what they would do if someone have evidence of being scamed, like what they would do to the scammer and would they compensate the scammed person, does it include ecs items or any items etc
I don't get what could they do. Like mods never silence them. It's usually just left to us to either farm them or warn others with the risk of silence
Idea: maybe mods should warn them saying that they have to give the item/s back to the person. Otherwise their status stays as like warning saying when trading with that person there is a risk of getting scammed,
I've heard of certain players getting banned (that I won't mention) but most know who I talking about ..maybe if you get a crapload of complaints/ss, ATA will invoke their power to ban for "disrupting gameplay" ? The ones I heard got banned were well known for it..
Not gonna post names but one of their showcase is funny...kinda shows extent to what they supposedly scammed...
when you provide ata with proof the person you are accusing they get banned ...don't know if someone already said this. .i didn't read all comments
why do people always say this. ..just because someone is your so called in game friend still don't mean you know them
