One-Shot

I close my eyes slowly as I remember the last night of you and I.

I touch my lips and I feel your soft sweet lips on mine. Your sweet fragrance, your charming smile, your mesmerising brown eyes; everything about you... I love.

Tears started to fall as I break the kiss that I'd longed for. I hugged you as I silently broke down inside. I heard my heart split into two, I heard my heart screaming for you. STAY. PLEASE... STAY WITH ME.

You caressed my flushed cheeks as we looked into each others eyes. You smiled a hurtful smile and it wounded me deep.

"Smile for me." My sweet voice filled with sorrow rang on your ears.

A sincere soft smile formed on your lips. I broke down in tears, not knowing what to do. I embraced you tightly, never wanting to let go.

You told me that you'd be here; that you'd never leave me. You told me that I will be the only girl in your heart, forever. But I refused. I told you to find another. I know it was stupid. But wasn't that the right thing to do?

That cold September night in our hideout, I left you as we said our goodbyes. So much emotions filled our hearts. Goodbye... the word I despised the most. Why does it hurt so much? Why do we even have to say goodbye...?

I walked slowly, and faded out of your vision. Even if it hurts... I can't be with you anymore. Those words came out of my mouth like nothing. You understood. I know you did; and I know I didn't have to do that.

Now I open my eyes slowly as tears began to fall endlessly. The longing, the suffering, the pain, the loneliness; it is torturous. And I hope you don't feel like this, my love.

I stare into the bright light above me, a mask covers my mouth, I can see my future... my future coming to an end. The smell of medicines fills my nostrils, making me sick. The sound of the machines alerts my numb mind.

My body all numb and lifeless, I begin to close my eyes slowly, my vision blurring out. I can smell the blood everywhere. I can hear the screams, the prayers of everyone around me.

Mother. Her voice stands out the most. Saying the prayer of the lord, saying the prayer of mother Mary.

I love you... Thank you for everything. Thank you for taking care me in my state. Than you... Thank you for never giving up.

A smile forms my lips for the last time, my last tear drops slowly, my heartbeat starts to slow. I can feel the soft beat of the end. My thoughts all about you. I say my last prayer...

Dear God, I thank you for the borrowed life. I thank you for giving someone as great as him. Take me, and lead me oh lord, I will follow you 'till the end. Amen.

As my last minute begins to tick on the clock, I reminisce the times we were together; your laugh so adorable, when you snort, I giggle. You love me as much as I wanted, you gave me the most expensive thing in the world. Your love, your care, and everything about you. Priceless.

I love you... I love you... I love you. I repeat on my mind countless of times until I fade away from the life of earth.

But hey... Don't worry... I'll see you in another life.

I love you.

Where all schools from the same district compete for their sports.  T'was supposed to be volleyball but then we lack of members this year; so I went for badminton.
