I finally got around to this story I'm doing with Toxic! Here we go... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was rushing through the airport, gathering my luggage and heading towards my flight towards the beautiful Italy. I got a internship there for a fashion designer, and my dream was coming true. The shiny tiled floors of the airport were clacking underneath my heels, and I could hear the rolling of my luggage as I dragged it through. I was already past the security check. I was headed for terminal 37, it was the first flight to Italy. The town I was flying to was close to the airport I was going to be dropped off at. I walked under the tall ceiling past the many transparent walls. I finally arrived at my terminal, and put the luggage into the storage bay. Suddenly a tan hand grabbed my wrist, and I tried to jerk away, but the man was too strong. He looked old, his face was wrinkly, and his eyes looked aged, and dull. He was wearing a green hoodie which covered his head. He looked at me with his seemingly black eyes. "Be careful in Italy my dear, you have no idea what awaits you there." He says before backing up, and seemingly disappearing into a crowd of people, with a creepy smile the whole way. I was very shaken by this man. I stepped onto the plane steps, and hauled myself up one step at a time trying to figure out what he meant. After I got onto the plane, I sat down in my coach seat with little space in-between the red leather seats. My long black hair brushed against the seat. I laid back, and closed my brown eyes as I drifted into slumber. My dreams turned to nightmares the more I thought of the man subconsciously. I was awoken by the flight attendant showing us our safety measures. After our long lecture, I put on my seatbelt and prepared myself for the long flight. The beige dressed lady had already annoyed me with her chirpy voice, and perky smile. Her perfect skin was like that out of a magazine with it's photoshopped models. I thought I was much more stylish in my grey business suit. It was grey, but it looked professional. People were talking about how exciting their trip would be, talking about how beautiful Italy is going to be. I guess they weren't taking account to their cheeriness how boring this flight would be. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hope you like!
Sorry for not be there on time Adam, I terribly apologize. I was extremely busy, and I love the beginning, blew my breath away. Enjoy this part! Even though I can't compete with Adam's great writing, I can do as much as I can, thank you and since I won't be here for maybe 2 days all I want to say is....HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! WOO FORTH OF JULY!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Stepping out of the plane, my eyes were blurred by the blazing, radiant sun as it wrapped my skin in sunshine. I shielded my eyes, trying not to groan in frustration. As I stepped out of the tube that separated the plane from the passengers drop-off section, I still tried to conjure and find a simple answer for the man who yielded me about Italy. Was he crazy? Mental? Had he hated the way I thought of Italy? Tourists were not his favorite people? I couldn't calculate his meaning, I started to fumble my fingers in my hair, causing my flowing, silky, dark hair to fall in other directions a person would snicker about. My heels clacking into the drop-off center, I decided to get a cup of coffee, since my eyes were about to droop and I could just sleep on the tile floor, caring less of what people thought of me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It may not be much, but I hope you like it, thank you!
Showing no determination on finding a cup of coffee, I just headed just to get a good sip of water through the fountain. The lag on the airplane made me waddle a bit, stumbling on my heels, which I thought were gonna crack at any moment. At sight of the fountain, I hurried quickly, my suitcase flying, and as I rushed to the fountain, a tall lean man came to my way. "You are American no?"he said in a distant Italian accent, realizing I wasn't here for fun and games. I'm a strong woman, so I don't pity for flirting. "I need to go, I'm very thirsty."I said sternly in Italian, almost like a hiss. As I sipped the water, giving my tongue a little irony taste, a used a tissue to cover my mouth, and as I was about to leave, a felt a tug on my suitcase, which caused me to groan. What did this idiot want? "Sorry miss, but I can help you get around, I'm very fond of this place." He grinned." I sighed, facing him. He was about 6"7 with bronze skin, dark messy hair, and a sinister smile on his face, causing my eyes to give him a warning. "Ok, I need to head over here." I showed him a map of the area, showing him a stoned building, which was covered with rose bushes. "Ooh, the library. Your a smart girl, no."he flashed a smile. "Just take me there, and you won't be hurt." I grunted. He just put his hand over his head, and whistled as he took my suitcase, heading to the main entrance. As I straightened my suit, I noticed that the man looked genuinely similar, in a way, I didn't know. I guess I'll have to live with it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He took me to the library flashing his smile at me the whole time. He probably had something for American girls. I was not here to flirt, I was here for my job. "Right here my beautiful lady." He said as we arrived to the beautiful library. I gave him a look of disdain before almost punching him. But I held back. "My is possessive idiota, I'm not your girl." I hissed before walking off confidently into the library. I sat down in one of the chairs and put my head in my hands. I felt my long hair fell down against them. I rubbed my eyes, trying to clear some of my dreariness. I wasn't in the best mood right now. So many things were happening. I was so confused about what is going on lately. The man at the airport scared me already, and the man here had something sinister about him. Something odd. Something...inhuman. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shortness, I know. But I just updated two other stories!
I got lost track of time, my bad, hope you guys shall like this! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As the man approached me as I was grazing through the everlasting bookshelfs, he asked, with one of those heart stopping smiles that caused me to gag inside,"Eh, why are you in need of the library? Italy outside the walls is much for exciting."he overused it too much, giving me a disgusted sneer. "Being prudent is not the answer. Plus, the library is the best way to find information for designs at my internship, so I don't give a bull about the precious and exciting Italy as you say it is, got it?"my voice was dangerously low, but he stood there, frowning and started. "You are a tough girl, Americans."he shook his head, signing disappointment. I growled softly,"Im here to work, you can leave."I said clearly. Then he didn't respond. I just saw a peek of him, but I was in horror, he wasn't there, just a black silhouette of a man, eyes gleaming with distrust. His breathing sounded like screaming deaths, which made my heart pace. "You don't know what happens anymore. Being nice is tiring me." he spat in my face in strong Italian. I shuddered,"W-What? Get away from me!" I started to knock some books at the figure, but they went though him, perfectly, not even some type of grasp with caused me to yelp inside. "I'm afraid I can't allow that, flora." he grinned sickly. Flora? That's Pourtugese! I thought he was Italian! My thoughts raced inside me, a horrible feeling in my throat rising. In a dash I sprinted to the halls of the mammoth sized library, crying for help loudly, but the shadow just kept coming closer, inches from me. I tripped on a pile of books, causing me to conceal a hole big enough for my small frame, I crawled there quickly, hugging my knees, whimpering to myself. The figure said in his husky voice,"You are not far, my delicious, I shall have you soon." it was so echoey, it throbbed through my ears and tortured my brain. Why can't I escape? My breaths were so heavy, making my hips hurt. I acted like I was drowning, but I was in a library, knowing who what that figure is gonna do to me. As I looked around through the piled books, I found a decorated stake, I was puzzled by the designs, thinking it was someone's decorative piece of chair or something. But and idea soared, when I wished it hadn't. I jumped from the piled bookcases, yelling in a nervous yet serious manner,"Show!", but I stopped. The figure vanished, but how? I still kept my hands on the stake, making sure anything else would follow when the figure appeared, with fangs drooling on me, making the shadow trample me, but I hid the stake on my back, biting my lips. As through the figure's drooling breaths, he muttered, pleaded with himself,"I have you now, my sweet. Such a shame for you." He touched my skin, suffocating my throat, shortening my breaths, causing my insides to twist. When he finished his gesture, he raised his arm, and with his shadowy went through my body, but I felt a gruesome pain, he was trying to take my heart, he had a jar beside him, with other beating hearts oozing with dry and fresh blood, but I couldn't speak, my mind was close to entering through oblivion of darkness. But at my last few breaths, thinking it was the end of me, I rushed the stake from the back, causing the stake to puncture a huge hole on my back, but I ignored it, thrusting it into the figure's chest, which caused it to shriek like a ringing in your ear so loud, I plugged my ears. It staggered, holding its arm to its chest, it's death eyes bulging, when it sneered, sneezing the white blood ooze from the chest and drizzle on its hands. Whit blood? It tried to attack me again, but at it muttered it's few breaths, it chocked,"We will get you." And it caused it to melt, making the white blood to seep into the ground, making everything if the shadow disappear. I stood up, shaking and trembling, still paralyzed of what I did, I stared at the stake, and I yelped and leg it go to the floor, it's gleaming hilt appear a design that matched the figure's human shirt. I just fainted. Through my last sights of reality, I had my last question, trying to grab onto the real life as possible, Why did he attack me, and what was he? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What did you think? Sorry that's it's short. 3 bumps to continue
