There are some types of bread that are quite hard when untoasted. Usually not really your typical "sandwich bread" though I suppose
I just really like the satisfying crunch. I also don't like cold or room temp bread, it needs a certain warmth and be able to melt the sauces/spreads a lil bit.
Vegan aside, I actually have always found cheese kinda weird and would only eat in sauces. Prior to vegan I only rly ate fish stuffs and eggs and milk
