"Adam! Get your rear in gear and help our new guests with their luggage!" I heard my mom, Nellie, shout up to the loft.
"Take a chill pill mom, I'm right here," I teased before we both started laughing our heads off.
    "Adam, this is Mr. Chun."
"Oh, my last name is Lee. Asian names, very confusing," our new guest corrected with a surprisingly American accent, "My daughter is getting her stuff from the car."
"Cool, should I go help?" I asked nervously. This was the first time since my dad lost his job, that we had a guest in my generation.

You'd think that if you move a lot, that you'd be better at packing your clothes and junk. Sadly, though, that is not the case. I was worried I'd have to be a luggage cart or worse, make two trips!
Right as I was debating, a guy my age came out to help. Hurray! Wait, pause. He was hot!

    Adam

Ok, this chick is either a creeper or has been out in the heat too long.
"Hello, is anyone in there?" I asked, waving my hand in front of her face. With ninja-like reflexes, she smacked my hand away and grabbed one of her boxes.
"Shut up dude, just help me carry these," she mumbled into her black, black hair.
"Yes, your welcome," I sarcastically said, lift a suitcase onto my shoulder, "By the way, the name's Adam."
    "Brittany."

  6. Brittany

Once I got all my junk in my new room, I fell onto my new bed exhausted. I tried to remember how many times my dad and I had moved, but I just drew a blank. Was my life always going to be like this?

Wow, how much stuff do two people need? I've carried couches lighter than their boxes.
It was worth it, though. Even though it was just one trip, I had enough time to strike up a conversation with Brittany. I learned that her father grew up in North Korea, but he somehow escaped due to a family disaster. Brittany's mom had died the night she was born, and no one knows who her grandparents are. As I listened to Brittany's life story, I could tell that she didn't know something important. What was her dad not telling her?

It's just not fair! If I ever find that man, I'll make him wish he hadn't run off with my fiancé. I'll kill him the same way his wife was, watching the pain in the eyes of his family.
"Sir," a guard shouted, interrupting my thoughts, "We think we've tracked the general area the target is in."
I ordered, "Show me the evidence and assemble the troops! We will find her."

  13. Sorry it's short.

I was sitting on my old swing-set, apologizing to the universe for whatever happened to make summer so boring. Someone waved a hand in front of my face and whispered, "Any one there?"
I started backwards and nearly fell out of my swing, just for show. "Brittany," I gasped, "How dare you interrupt me when I'm talking to my self."
"Yeah, what were you doing anyway?"
"Thinking about how boring life is without someone to entertain myself with."
"Okay...if you're bored, I guess we could go to the beach."
I looked up to see if she was serious. Apparently, she was.
    "I'll race you."
    -------
    Brittany

My dad always told me, "Never go to the beach alone." I thought he was worried I would drown, but I swim like a fish and he still won't let me.
"Haha, I'm winning!" Adam yelled back to me.
I easily ran up to him and replied, "I was going easy on you."
    "So was I."
"Okay let's both sprint as fast as we can, down to the beach."
    "Ready, set, GO!"
    -------
    Adam

Brittany won the race, dang she was fast!
When we got to the beach, we both immediately splashed into the water, soaking our clothes. A splash-fight was completely necessary at that moment. That of which, I actually won.
"Ha! You may be faster, but I'm stronger. Forfeit now or be soaked head to toe!" I shouted over the sound of the water.
"Ahh! Fine. I give, I give!" she screamed back, giggling.
I walk/swam over to Brittany, and threw her over my shoulder.
"Eeek!" she squealed, "Put me down!"
"You really want me to drop you?" I asked.
Brittany looked down to see how far a drop it was and hesitantly replied, "Never mind."
"Don't worry I would never hurt you, Brittany."
